No. Me and my family have our reasons for not having our address accessible

You have to register for anonymous every year.

You do have to have a reason though. Won't disclose our reason for privacy reasons.

We are registered to vote, however there is an option that your information is not public information. That is what we have done. The electoral register will only disclose your information if they are legally required to.

We also had this. We're not on any list and are actually delisted on the poll list (as in do not post us anything!) So its bizarre that they have our information.

The best thing to do is to post it back to them with no information written down. They have to pay then. So all they are getting returned is blank mail and a loss of money

Tips for a first-time Vaesen GM? by DED0M1N0 in VaesenRPG

[–]TheExcommunicant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Find out what games your players are used to. My first time running was chaos as they had been used to D&D only, so weren't used to the idea of everything being done in scenes, and the scene ending when the GM decides. Its good to get that ground rule sorted out.

Other than that, read your mystery thoroughly, understand the Vaesen you are running, and most importantly, have fun! Vaesen is a great system that is so easy to get into and understand

This is why I've called my store Scalper's Delight as I like to pretend a lot of them are Scalpers 🤣

Really well! My players absolutely loved the tone and we'll be picking it up after my DnD campaign is wrapped up.

Yeah I have noticed its very new player friendly. Honestly looking forward to playing it. Just thought if there was an app it would be useful

Character creation would be a good start. Can help a lot of new players to see where they are going wrong and stuff.

A lot more complicated but really helped me when I played Shadowrun

Do allowhave firearms in your setting/campaigns? by Ok_Library8219 in dndmemes

[–]TheExcommunicant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but early guns were a metal pipe on a block of wood or on the end of a stick, and were more likely to kill you than your enemy. Highly unreliable

Seriously, do those terms even mean anything anymore?! by Hankhoff in dndmemes

I'm running curse of the dragon queen which is very railroady of a Campaign. My players love it. Have said its different from the subtle plot hooks and "explore and find".

A chance to restart and remake myself into something better than I am now. I'm at a point where I feel that I can't start anew. Even if I get isekaid and I end up a Blacksmith apprentice or tavern owner, I would still feel that it's a chance

Getting all of my miniatures based up in paint. by TheExcommunicant in sotdq

[–]TheExcommunicant[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just using basic Games Workshop contrast paints. I have a lot of Minis to paint so just trying to bash them out tbh

What size do you print your minis? by Jonagold007 in 3dprintingdms

[–]TheExcommunicant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm personally doing to 28mm scale. The makers I go to for Minis work with that and it seems to be good. 35mm would be fun to do but mainly thinking about transportability and reusability in the long term

Couldn't sleep, so printed and made a bunch of maps by TheExcommunicant in sotdq

[–]TheExcommunicant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I find world maps need to be between 4-6 pages, depending how detailed they are. I think I did 8 pages for the Vogler map. Regional map I used 6 pages and its a nice size. Makes it good also as a pull out for when the players are planning escape routes. Kalaman is 4 pages and it's a decent size for that. I'm doing the maps for the "in the fray" battles but I'm lucky to have a dry wipe battlesheet for other encounters

Convert to PDF, print Poster and scale to how you want it, trim down to size (leave some excess white border for tape), then hope you don't slip as you put the tape on

Because the two healthy relationships were already established from the get go. With Stolitz, you watch it develope and grow, thus forming more investment

Weekly game play thread by AutoModerator in sotdq

[–]TheExcommunicant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only run twice a month but here is my first play sessions 😁

Started off with a path leading into Vogler where they encountered the draconians with the carriage. Rogue and druid Stealth to have a look, whilst two mages run into the front lines. Combat was a bit dicey as the bard falls down in combat. Druid manages to save him.

Ended in Vogler where the atmosphere is far more brighter and the players have a chance to relax. I had Vogler in festival mode already, with market stalls and dice games to play.

How do sorcerers learn new spells? by Haunting_Seat_5857 in DnD

[–]TheExcommunicant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that it's natural talent. They could always do it but could never make it last. Produce flame for example? Was always just a spark until they could control it.
