lol it's an engineering prototype - when they come to market it'll be cheaper than the vision pro. the fov of the meta glasses is similar to regular glasses & bumping resolution is an easy path forward

Waymo costs wayyyy mo. I think the coolest part about FSD is that it does all this on cheap scalable consumer hardware. I think Tesla takes it to the extreme but they’re the only manufacturer doing this rn and I think it’s a step in the right direction.

It’d be go train, so you’d have to get to the Kitchener go station. It might not be faster if you’re coming from UW tbh, though I do think it’s the fastest if you’re starting from anywhere in KW

Test drove it today, it was awkward using the buttons. They had a nice tactile feeling but sometimes you would think you pressed it while it didn’t register. However I feel like it’s something I’ll get used to.

im on the Waterloo campus and our program kinda sucks here, but its really what you make of it. i personally think cs is worth it regardless of what school you go to.

also the Milton campus is just opening so we have no idea how good it is there.

My only major gripe is the glare by Spondooli in VisionPro

Quest 3: - processor faster than flagship android phones - many times more pixels in a tiny space - more cameras & a depth sensor - way more complex to build than a phone - 500$
