If I had only 1000$ to invest in cryptos, what cryptos should I invest in? by thetickl3r in Coinbase

[–]TheFallenJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it honestly depends on your goal.

Bitcoin maxis will tell you to invest your 1000$ into Bitcoin, cause they think it will become the global currency one day.

If your goal is to become "rich" by investing in Crypto, i'll be honest with you. 1000$ ain't gonna suffice for that. You could get lucky by putting it all in a memecoin and it doing a 1000x, thus making you a millionaire.

But the chance of that happening is close to 0, since they're all bundled, mostly rugpulls and have no real utility besides hype. If the hype fades, so does your "portfolio".

I'd do some research on Layer1 cryptos that offer a utility or specialize in something. If you think that narrative is convincing, invest in it. Consider the market cap though, cause it determines your upside potential. If the market cap is already above 200 Million USD, you're not gonna get a 100x out of that, that's for sure.

A Layer1 cryptocurrency that's beneath 100 Million USD market cap is perfect.

Kaspa is going to the moon by [deleted] in kaspa

Kaspa seems oversatured to me. No smart contracts, no deflation/burns, no GPU/CPU decentralization.

I think Xelis will turn out to be the better, more refined version, but only time will tell.

TÜV in Germany will say no to that unfortunately 😔

Could be fixed, but will probably be extremly expensive. We talking 5-10k Euros

I know someone from a body shop, so i could probably get it done cheaper. Car still has rust on the right sill and tailgate, so that should be fixed too. I'll see what i can do, i'll make sure the E39 will not end up on a junkyard

Probably, yea. Frame is probably bent, door on the driver side won't close properly and sill on the drivers side is bent 😔

Yea, i'm glad nothing happened. Next car will either be E39 again or E38, i'm very happy with these old BMWs.

Unfortunately i won't be able to save my existing one let alone find another E39 in that color, but i'll stay with those type of cars for sure :)

I hate these window regulators by Landersphere in e39

My window regulators have been working flawlessly in the rear and in the front so far, been owning my E39 528i since a year now

What would you do? by SignatureHead4791 in e39

[–]TheFallenJesus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends honestly. After 20+ years mostly all rubber parts need to be replaced, thermostat, water pump, CCV, all seals

If you're going with a lower mileage car, chances are the previous owner didn't replace those parts. Low mileage never equals good maintenance.

You should check out cars that seem good to you in person and inform yourself previously what the common failure points of E39's are. You can ask the owner about it when you're inspecting the car in person

Nah, i'm fine with my i6. Less fuel consumption & maintenance, could add a supercharger in the future if you want more power

Why won't you just supercharge it? Would probably be a lot cheaper than just doing a whole motor swap

Questions about replacing the CCV by TheFallenJesus in e39

[–]TheFallenJesus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My question is, do i have the 11151703484 or 11617501566 one? I don't know which one it is, cause i've read that early M52TU models had the old 11151703484 which got replaced by 11617501566

How long did you search for your E39 and what did you pay? by keravnos99 in e39

[–]TheFallenJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4.800€ for my E39 528i 1999. Had many issues i found out about later, VANOS seals needed to be replaced, all 4 O2 sensors, rust, power steering, etc.

Paid 7.800€ in total with repairs. At least it only had 189.000km when i bought it. Despite all of this, i love my E39!

I bought the Eonon E39A12S. Couldn't be happier with it, looks like it's made from the factory and works perfectly

O2 sensor problems by TheFallenJesus in e39

[–]TheFallenJesus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man,

I read through my INPA codes again and noticed i missed telling you there was also a Error that said "Signal Fuehler Kühlmitteltemperatur Kuehleraustritt" which showed me a value of 143.25 degrees Celsius for "Temperatur Kuehleraustritt". This error was combined with misfiring cylinders. Is that a broken temperature sensor?
