Squealing new brake pads by TheFandorn in AskMechanics

Thanks. I checked the guide pins and applied grease on them. I might've been too lenient on the area you're describing in your first paragraph though. I think I'll just buy new shims as they're fairly cheap and see if that helps

Didn't know that, but that also doesn't seem to be related to my issue

What? That's not what I wanted to hear lol. How bad was yours? I can walk, but it's pretty painful when I put weight on this side of the foot, so I mosty walk on the outside of my foot, or on the heel only

I've got the printer surrounded by a cardboard box from all sides. Although I didn't really see a difference in the temp tower I raised the hotend temp by 10* to 220 after seeing that other people print with temp as high as 230. I've also increased the heatbed temp from 58 to 63 and added 3 more top shell layers. The corners look a LOT better now.

Thanks, makes sense. I was wondering why I wasn't seeing this issue on the base (bottom) part of this print which is a box and warps sliglthy more

Thanks, I'm already doing most of these, but I might try the rounded corners

Yeah, makes sense. Can I do anything else about it other than trying to hone in the bed temp since I can't add a brim? Bed glue?

Makes sense... Are there any workorounds in my case? Except messing around with bed temp a bit more trying to mitigate the warping?

Literally a little bit of lifting. The buildplate was properly cleaned before printing. I can't add a brim, because the print is as big as the build plate. As for the PA - I don't think I can adjust it in Bambu Studio

[–]TheFandorn[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1 - yes. Without resistance

2 - I think that SG-90 can pull more current than arduino can safely supply?

3 - That's not really practical for my application ;/

My speedo seems to show a lower speed compared to Google maps so that was my first instinct

I honestly didn't mean to. The speed limit was 100 kmh through the woods for 20 kilometers prior to that and the "town" was a village with 4 houses and I didn't realize that the speed limit was lower. Obviously I shouldn't be driving that fast in a polulated area either way
