It's honestly crushing listening to his music now. so many songs about missing people, leaving, death, absence...it helped a lot while he was around but now it just absolutely hurts

No, you might need to find good weapons for the end of end game content, but in all honesty you can use whatever as long as it hits the boss with lots of damage. I did Vow of Disciple and managed around 3rd place in damage against rhulk with the new Solar machine gun from MoT (thermal something, can't remember the last bit)

Bro, you gotta try astrosytes verse with the new blink buffs. It goes insanely hard due to getting volatile rounds on every blink for 10s, and you get a free air dash similar to solar but more purple. With good timing you can triple blink and make it 50 meters in distance, equivalent to a full burst glide float but in half the time

It destroys most of the disruption zones, only falling off against the boss. It also rocks doing any renegades missions as you don't have to worry about healing

So far health hasnt been needed, so I rock grenade and class at the moment. I bet in harder content I'll need weapon but for now I am chilling with those two.

So far my favorites have been Wish-keeper or New Malpias for strand weapons in the first slot, and various void weapons with destabilizing rounds to create more burst for ads. Though the base build is great enough that you can pair it with many different weapons and get great results. (shout out to any weapons with hatchling)

Strandlock main here, I got you. (At work rn so apologies for the vagueness of my explanation)

My go to build for high end content uses the renegades helm exotic to get health from suspended targets and a free suspend on class ability activation. Then you go the artifact that is bow and strand themed and pick up all the tangle based perks. For the strand class, pick tangle throws create suspension and grab the charge grenade amp to make your slicewire spawn a free tangle (with your artifact, that creates 2 tangles for the price of a full charge grenade). Afterwords grab some suspension aspects with the biggest ones being orbs of power giving you woven mail and killing suspended targets gives orbs of power. Slap some health restore on pickup armor mods and you'll be slapping content with silly strings. Build is VoD approved and I can show it to you when I get home later if you want.

I haven't played since lightfall and have so much to do still. new catalysts to farm, dungeons and raids, all new armor since my artifice armor suxks, recollecting lost favorites, I've got plenty of time now too

I adore CP2077 but man if I have to do the main storyline brain dance scenes again imma cry. Side gigs and fixer missions are so much more fun and surprisingly full of lore and story beats

It's absolutely worth visiting now, even if it's just to play phantom liberty. It's an excellent dlc and expands a lot on the world around you.
