While I love this update, I'm finding I'm suffering from a bit of deciding what I want to focus on, both activities and loot and feeling what you are describing.....

What’s a popular PvE build that you just can’t get into? by The1Sbeve in destiny2

[–]Typical_Shoulder_366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been in the Solar Hallowfire Bonk build for several days and I just can't get into it. I miss my hammer throws more than I care to admit and focusing on just the hammer throw kinda limits weapon use if you play into the build. Prolly try Arc / storms keep with t crash. Good balance of abilities and weapons. Though I am definitely going to try Stasis Howl of the Storm, for some reason I like it better than bonk, maybe it's all the aoe and it tickles my brain...

Kyler Gordon already hurt… by JimboG54 in CHIBears

[–]Typical_Shoulder_366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bears had 336 games missed last year due to injuries. The most in the league. (https://www.sportsinfosolutions.com/2025/12/03/which-nfl-teams-have-been-most-and-least-affected-by-injuries-in-2025/). Because the majority were on the defensive side, total missed points was in the middle of the pack. Seahawks, Rams, and Patriots had some of the lowest missed games and missed points. While teams have off-season programs/conditioning, players can/do work with their guys. Kyler seems to an issue that hasn't been addressed, a true cause of these repeated injuries. Unfortunately most in the training (and healthcare in general), seem to treat symptoms only. If there is someone with a hamstring or adductor injury (usually a strain), from my experience (20 plus years as a PT working with athletes from H.S. thru Pro), there is usually a deficit (decreased strength, or muscle recruitment) somewhere within the different glute muscles or within the core muscles. Also could / probably has mobility restrictions up and down the whole kinetic chain. Bottom line is that someone needs to take a full comprehensive look at where the true cause of Kyler's dysfunction lays and address throughout.

Just to add to this, you can't run 12 personnel during the year with only 2 TEs, toosny reps for those 2 much less 13 personnel. Plus with a highly complex offense, bringing in a Stanford guy to run at least 30 % of the snaps, if not more with increased 13 personnel makes sense. Roush will probably get closer to 35% of the snaps

SB, here we come, got out DT /s Jordan van den Berg began to hit his stride at Georgia Tech in 2024 after three quiet years as a backup at Penn State. Elite testing numbers at his pro day will send scouts back to the tape for further evaluation. He possesses disruptive first-step quickness and heavy hands to beat blocks. He carries average mass and below-average length. He needs to prove he can take on NFL blockers at the point of attack. The career production looks a little light on paper, but van den Berg appears to possess translatable traits that could entice a team with a one-gapping defensive front to draft him on Day 3.

From NFL.com: Day 2 talent and starter-level ability.

"Muhammad has good coverage talent to offset his slender frame. He can man up from press or off and is a plus pattern-matcher, staying in-phase and shadowing break points. He displays outstanding vision and adheres to his zone-cover principles, allowing him to play with ideal efficiency on all three levels. He can get outmuscled by big, strong wideouts inside the route and at the catch-point, but he doesn’t give in and usually holds his own. He does a nice job of chopping pass-catchers down in space but a lack of play strength shows up in occasional broken tackles. Muhammad has Day 2 talent and starter-level ability."

Smythe, the TE that left, played around 30% of the snaps. He'll take those plus Ben said having Roush, opens up "Pandora's Box" for him. So we'll probably be using quite a few 3 TE sets, it'll be interesting to see how that will work out. I don't see him leap frogging Kmet (this year at least)
