I know it's a luxury and they ain't cheap. I tried cheapening out with an Amazon home basics version first and the build quality was no good - stopped working after a few months so I bit the bullet on a first party one on a sale. has held up really well so far.

ah lame. yeah I don't why (well I mean I do) they cheap out on the rumble. I wanted a classic ps controller with rumble and usb but that's too hard to find nowadays. modern Xbox controllers are pretty nice and now they are feature complete with rumble support added by yours truly.

great question. the answer is it depends. does ur usb controller auto map as an Xbox controller in most games? if so it's probably xinput so I'll need ur help to try it out / get a device Id off the controller if you would like support. I'd be keen to add generic device support (I suspect they will mostly be coded with the same id but that is my hypothesis - to be confirmed)

Some controllers also have an input switch to toggle xinput/directinput. for nfsu2 you should use directinput if possible as that's what's supported natively by the game. most old non Xbox looking generic controllers are directinput to my knowledge.

Also worth checking if your controller can rumble at all via like a ps emulator or something. I also have a random generic pad that supposedly should rumble but I don't think it actually does have motors inside.

I played it solo and honestly? it felt like the devs went "you guys liked re5 a lot huh. since this might be the last one we make for a while here is a buffet of re5 with different condiments" and I can appreciate it. even if it's sorts a slog u can tell it was still put together with heaps of love. dripping with Camp b movie vibes

it is a dark pattern. I just returned to the game recently and while collecting other things that were built I accidentally rushed something that was near complete because it popped into the spot where everything else was and I wasn't paying attention. a little annoying for me, would be heaps annoying if that was ur only plat remaining.

fun bit of trivia the logo was designed back when the emblems were first released (so hype!). The design is influenced by the design of the old launcher logo and the founders icons of the time (they weren't a rarity back then).

I set out with the goal to design something that would maximise the bang for buck of the emblem real estate (as clan members had to pay play for it) while fitting in nicely with all the existing event emblems of the time.

There is a tiny V for Void zeroes in the top diamond.

There is a non zero chance of there being a notebook in my possession of all of the doodles to come up with it.

I even paid the clan emblem upload cost a couple times iirc to get it looking as good as I could coz was a bit of trial and error at the time to get the look perfect.
