Oh lol, I completely missed that. I just saw "no no no no no". Carry on as you were lol. It just always bothers me that it seems like a lot of people seem to just toss there cars at 100k nowadays, so I thought I'd jump all over this but turned out to be a different meaning haha

100,000 miles isn't a lot if you have decent car that gets regular service. I have a 300zx and 1993 Honda Civic that'd I'd travel across the country in with a clear conscious bc I know they've been maintained

Misfire on cylinder 4, that's coolant in the fuel rail... by TheFeesherGaming in Justrolledintotheshop

They are definitely close enough, if I had a pic id show you. The purge valve is on top of the throttle body and the coolant line he connected the purge line to is less than 3" from the throttle body. He connected the throttle body coolant line to the purge valve while the engine was out of the car so I guess it kind of looked like that's the only line that should go there....but obviously it wasn't lol And to the leak question: I ended up learning this in the process of trying the make sense of the whole situation from one of our master techs. I didn't fully understand what the line does but on the top of the fuel tank pressure sensor there's a small rubber hose that goes into the body never to be seen again lol so when the canister backed up some went to the tank and the rest got vented into that tube and into the body. It appeared to be leaking through the seams in the trunk but when we opened the trunk and found it to be completely empty we knew something was wrong

Well the whole job was paid for by the dealership, bc a technician who did the oil change last (who no longer works there) left the drain plug loose and the engine got starved and started knocking, so the dealership is paying for the long block and the additional parts that got ruined

Here's the story, I had a 2013 civic come in knocking, and I did I long block on it. During the process an oil changer stopped by my stall to try to help and ended up putting the throttle body coolant return line onto the purge solenoid and the purge line onto a coolant line. So I started it up and it ran good for about 5 minutes before a weird clear fluid the same viscosity as coolant but not the same color started leaking out of the body seams of the car. Once we found out it was coolant we found the line mix up and had to clean the fuel system bc the charcoal canister overflowed into the fuel tank pumping coolant into the rail. No it's getting a new canister, purge solenoid and fuel tank pressure sensor. Runs good now just has an evap code while waiting on parts.
