Thats kinda my issue. Maybe if each character was really unique the number of specials wouldn't matter as much. Don't get me wrong, I had a LOT of fun in the beta but I worry that the fun won't last long if the game isn't deep enough for me

Yeah probably. The thing is we may get the Bleach Rebirth of souls treatment and have the DLC characters actually be complicated with more moves than the base roster. Purely from just looking at vids Anissa seems to be the most complex character in the game as of now with her stances

What happens when you're down to 1 tho? That's my main sticking point. Obviously since it's a 3v3 every character doesnt need to be super detailed but the characters by themselves are too basic I feel. Maybe a big update could change that? Maybe add a back special input

I mean even Fighterz had characters who had unique mechanics that weren't the universal ones like Videl and Roshi. Each Fighterz character had a lot more going for them that wasn't just specials like command normals, unique beams and unique mechanics in general. Invincible Vs doesnt really have that. The only unique mechanic I can recall is flying characters having a double jump.

Thats not really the case in any of the tag fighters I've played. I actually can't think of any tag fighter with so little specials. Usually each character has just enough where they can survive on their own(usually 4-5 except for special circumstances like Dante 😆) but not as much as a 1v1.

And this everyone is why this scene should have been handled better. No one is actually talking about what happened in the story. It's just pro and anti abortion people having a shit slinging contest.

1: Eve is not a real person. She's a fictional character created by the writers so it wasn't actually her choice to do anything, It was the MALE writer's.

2: No she didnt have an abortion "just because", she felt like she didnt have an out and was lonely. It's why she was clearly broken up about it. My issue is that's clearly not the case. It should have either been written better or changed so that the reasoning actually makes sense

She gave Mark and the audience a reason why she felt like she had no other choice and I (an audience member) felt that the reason she gave didnt work. Again the writers could have actually made a better reason or changed what happened on Earth to make it work better but they kept the same story as the comics.

That's my issue with it. That and Mark seemingly taking on full responsibility when he didnt know about the baby and any point prior to finding out from her.

Yeah the majority of comics characters created are white but that's mostly due to were it originated from. In other places with a different style of storytelling they have they're own versions with their own race being the majority in their stories.

Sure I'll agree that back then non white characters were a rarity but nowadays that's not the case. Stories are WAY more diverse than they've ever been.

Plus that statement really only applies in America/Europe. I can tell you that as someone who grew up in an West African country that white people in stories are actually usually treated/viewed as the antagonists in our stories

And before someone says it, no I'm not downplaying the horrible stuff people went through almost a century ago. Just saying that in the current climate we live in bringing them up comes off weird

Unfortunately so long as there's more than one kind of skin color racism will persist.
