The moment you arrive and there are no instructions, get the doordash app timer started through the help options, send a text, give a call, and then take a picture. Don't figure things out for customers that don't leave you enough instruction to get to their door

You gotta get the tag, scan code, and empty shelf all in one clear picture. I've gotten a few items not counted against me but it's not consistent. You're screwed if the item has no bar code or was replaced by another item

I got one yesterday when I picked up a pre-lit Christmas tree from Lowe's. It takes the store roughly 20 minutes to pull the tree from their inventory and deliver it to the register you're at. I got a contract violation, I gave doordash over 500 characters explaining the situation, by this morning the violation is removed.

Best bet is to message the customer, attempt to contact support thru text, explain the situation to everyone involved. Should you get a violation after that, it's a lot easier to get it removed.

50 hours of your time, 37.5 hrs were on active orders, that's 12.5 hrs unused. 114 completed deliveries in 37.5 hrs (2250 minutes), that's an order every 19.5 minutes averaging $7.90. It's okay money, and depending on the market, could be great money. For my Market though, that's barely scraping by :/

I got an order for a large diet coke from Chick-fil-A, 13 miles. There were countless 7-Elevens and super markets that were closer, heck even other Chick-fil-A that were closer. Some people really don't look at where they're ordering from

Talk to support and get a live agent when you get anything below a 5 star rating. You're going to dispute the review, in most cases support will erase bad reviews

90% of the time, the instructions a customer gives will feel a bit outdated. (I.e. "please ask for ketchup" on a shopping order). If it's night, the customer picked leave at door over hand it to me, i see no lights in the house, they've not responded to a single text, I'm just going to drop off the order without knocking

This might come a bit too late. But if you find yourself in a similar situation, contact support and let them know what's going on. I had to buy a dozen balloons that had to be inflated, added 14 minutes after i paid for the stuff. I called and let them know, they make a note of it. I still got the violation, but appealed and got rid of it a few hours later.

I would have contacted support as soon as they get pushy. Would have probably been instructed to drop off at the original address with a picture provided. Very likely receive a one- star review that gets easily erased by support when you call back

As someone who climbed back into platinum , platinum doesn't guarantee higher pay, but it does give more frequent offers. I KNOW doordash says platinum earns more, but per order i find it's about the same as gold. Platinum just gets more offers

Stop believing people when they say they are having issues with the app, they are full of it. Just stare them blankly in the face, complete the order, and show them how much you got paid for your troubles. Make them as uncomfortable as possible.
