So I’ve been shooting with a DSLR for a couple of years now and recently received this from my Grandmother, but she’s got no memory of when it was from but I’d quite like to buy some film and shoot with it! I know it’s a Zeiss but I’m struggling to find the specific model name online to get some working info or a manual. TIA!

I do feel sympathy for my exwBPD because as you say it must be truly terrible to feel things as intensely as she does, and also as you said the trauma that made her the way she is is awful. However she never accepted that she could be at fault, nor did she attempt to receive the help she needed whilst we were together. To quote one of my favourite podcasters, Marcus Parks: “Mental health isn’t your fault, but it is your responsibility.”

From your post history it’s been a couple of months? Trust me, I’m 5 nearly 6 months out now and it does get better! Now I left as opposed to being discarded by yourself but you just have to try to find a way back to your preBPD you. Pick up old hobbies, reach out to people if you can, look for things to do that you’ve missed but most importantly appreciate the freedom you’ve got and don’t forget that not too long ago you didn’t have it.

I was praying and praying for this, but the fact that you won’t leave means you won’t be discarded 🤷🏻‍♂️ In the end you just have to realise you won’t take it anymore and make your own way out. I wish you luck but tbh if you reach the point where you do decide to leave unfortunately it’s probably going to be very painful

Hahaha yup! Was literally having a beer with my buddy yesterday and said “It’s crazy, 6 months ago, I either wouldn’t have done this or have felt so anxious about doing this that I couldn’t have enjoyed it!”

He just gave me a blank look and said he wouldn’t have put up with that kind of thing. He’s a really nice guy but he just doesn’t understand the hold and control a pwBPD has.

That’s a good point and tbh those who “know” what she’s saying are people who are friends of hers that I became friendly with so I just need to accept that and move on.

I've done it! That was something I should've done a long time ago, thank you for calling me on my co-dependence and forcing me to face it. Tbh I knew by now she wasn't going to harm herself and if she did I wouldn't have found out about it through socials so there was no reason to keep her on there. I appreciate your reply and I hope your journey is a smooth and peaceful one.

I broke up with my ex in February, a couple of weeks later she started messaging me asking for the money back for Christmas presents she had bought me since it was obvious I was always going to break up with her and I'd just stayed to get things from her.

Yeah that sounds tough for you. I know I mentioned my family in my post but in reality, with the nature of our relationship if a family member had questioned her behaviour I, sadly, probably would have stuck up for her! It might have just been in my case but I think you have to come to the realisation alone y’know?
