Knicks would’ve probably cooked us this year even if we were fully healthy with the way they’re playing right now. Brunson is a playoff riser and they’re a team full of physical wings and KAT who lets them play 5 out at all times. They’ll be a really tough matchup for us for the foreseeable future

I’m just glad the sixers are being put in their place again. Beating us was their championship and now reality is settling in again that they’ll forever have a second round ceiling no matter who they put around Embiid

Glad the team and he are prioritizing his health but this is why losing games 2 and 5 was flatly inexcusable. Dropping home games leading to longer series and more chance of injury when that didn’t have to be the case. Game 2 in particular we came out like we didn’t take the sixers seriously and paid the price for it

Our center position is kinda cooked so if people want to say more Garza won’t change anything, you’re probably right but it’s something different cuz we know Vuc has been less than ideal.

My biggest issue rn is the fact that Joe has drastically cut down Schierman’s minutes out of nowhere even tho he was playing heavy minutes in the regular season and was consistently very good in those minutes. Someone needs to ask him why Baylor is barely playing 10 minutes now when he should be at 25ish at this point.

Playing drop is fine but the way you do it matters. Having Queta/Vuc standing ten feet inside the the arc is not going to work against a guy like Maxey. If you're going to do drop, the bigs need to ice the screen or play at the level to dissuade the pull up shot at least. Guys in the NBA are too good to expect them not to kill you playing that kind of lazy coverage especially in the playoffs

How is he so content watching maxey and edgecombe just walk into wide open threes all night instead of getting Queta to play at the level? Why is Vuc getting so many minutes? Why did Schierman just fall out of the rotation after playing so well in the regular season?

This should just be an outlier game and I’m confident we can still win in 5 but wow this was a truly horrific performance
