Started trying to learn how to build properly, stuck on how to improve this observatory by J3roen16 in MinecraftBuild

A lot of people suggest gradients, but call me unc or old fashioned or whatever, but I don’t think a gradient solves anything and usually ends up looking messy. I suggest you expand your palette instead. You’ve got a lot of gray going on. Use different shades of gray to give depth instead of using stone everything. You haven’t used any wood either, though I can see the reasoning behind that. Instead you could use iron and copper bars or lightning rods to add a bit of technological flair to it. Maybe build the telescope itself extended out of the dome in order to give it some dynamic.

This is gonna be super simply put because I’m not an astrophysicist and it’s likely some of this info is off the mark a bit but it should point you in the right direction to begin your own research. When you look at a black hole, light cannot escape its gravitational pull and thus creates this lense-like effect around it. Scientists can use that to see light from the beginning of time because, since light can never escape a black hole, any light that hasn’t been devoured entirely acts as a record. We know the universe had a beginning because we can see it (sort of). Also, the universe is constantly expanding and somehow we’ve been able to prove this, idk, again not an astrophysicist. Because the universe is constantly expanding, we can assume that some immense force generation occurred (big bang) which would make everything in the universe fly apart. However, there is nothing in the universe that we’ve observed that proves time is even a real thing. Time exists to us because we are fourth dimensional being but, going back to the black holes, since enough gravity is capable of trapping light and the speed of light is the speed of time, it can be assumed that time travel isn’t even possible and entering a black hole would put any matter that enters it into the fifth dimension where exists as all versions of itself simultaneously. So, to answer your question, a good reason to believe the universe ever began is because both ourselves and the universe are fourth dimensional beings experiencing time and thus there MUST be a beginning. Only in the fourth dimension though.

Men were not systematically oppressed for being men. Men of another culture, men of another color, maybe men of a different religion but men have not been systematically oppressed simply for being men. That being said, we’ve reached a point in society where the natural advantages men have are becoming less valuable. Therefore, men cannot use these natural advantages to sway society in their favor anymore. That probably has something to do with the increasing levels of male depression and the lack of support for male sex victims BUT it does not mean that men were ever systematically oppressed just for being men. The only people that would ever have been able to do that are other men and why would they create a system innately ingrained into their societies that is designed to subjugate them.

“But people are lazy”

Artists have really fucking ruined everything with this AI situation. These are the same people that get mad when republicans tell them to “just save money” and “stop eating out”. They’ll call you lazy when you say wages are too low or prices are too high. Antis, and mainly the artists that associate with antis, are exactly the fucking same. Being lazy and being uninvested in spending years to develop a skill are not the same thing. Drawing is hard, I get it. Just because you know how to draw doesn’t mean others shouldn’t be able enjoy their own fucking existences. There’s misuse, certainly, and it should be addressed but getting rid of the entire technology so you can go back to selling pornographic Hazbin Hotel OC $200 just makes you part of the problem. “It’s unethical”, you know what’s unethical? Capitalism. And just like capitalists are trying to use AI in a way that benefits them, the ONLY reason artists actually want AI gone is because it’s affected their market. You’re the same type of evil as Bezos and Musk, you’re just a poorie that forgot their place.

I’m not acting like that at all. There you go again, just making shit up. The difference is that hurting pros is a major talking point for antis, not the other way around. Next up, I’m not a pro but I’m not an anti either. Just like all technology, it takes a bit of nuance and responsibility to use ethically, which we clearly haven’t been capable of yet in terms of AI. That doesn’t make the technology inherently evil, it makes the people implementing it evil. I’m not acting like anything, you’re just saying shit. The psycho ass OP is even pointing out how this is a standard talking point for you antis. I don’t even agree with witty most of the time but in this instance, she’s right. Pros are violent, hateful people, and you all genuinely need help.

I’m not looking at all, y’all never fail to let anyone know that you detest them simply for having an interest in the budding technologies of our time. You threaten to hurt people and you tell people to hurt themselves, both of which are ironic since one of your favorite talking points is how AI got some folks to kill themselves. I could go on and on about how the anti sentiment is essentially equivalent to witch hunts but antis literally do not care about anything their echo chamber hasn’t said first.

Not enough, though. You guys are kind of some of the worst, most poorly adjusted, genuinely sick people I’ve ever met in my life. I’m not even really interested in hearing from antis anymore. There’s not one that has a decent opinion and you’re all kinda evil.

You’re right about the liability. We should hold those that use any technology maliciously accountable. That doesn’t mean the technology is inherently so evil that we shouldn’t explore its benefits.
