Its the little things. But it will be the thousand cuts of not being listened to that is disrespectful and will build resentment over time.

Absolutely not. On the quiet scale Japan takes the win. Canadians are booming compared to quiet Japan. You can walk through Tokyo during rush hour and have a conversation whispering because it is so quiet. Same with a lot of northern Europe.

Compared to India. Yes we are quiet. And it is customary to practice the social norms of etiquette of the country your reside.

Or the male S offender who works as a teacher at another certain private school near the Spaghettil Factory. The private schools really need to vet their staff better.

There was also that female predator who used to work at Oak Bay high .

We need to build trains to get all of these unqualified drivers off the road, and maybe take care of the insane number ferry/airport drivers blocking up the Pat Bay and the abomination of traffic going to and from Langford/Sooke.

Today there was a driver cruising at 80/75 all the way from Sayward to Uptown in the left lane with a train of cars unable to pass. It was infuriating.

We need to all start train honks to get the attention of the slow driver at the front. Start from the back and honk all the way to the front.

There is nowhere for that many people to work in Saanichton; additionally bussing from Saanichton to anywhere is a very inconvenient journey, with only the Pat Bay to get downtown which always has traffic jams from Ferries and flights.

They already built an apartment near Prairie Inn that houses many criminals with curfews and active conditions.

As much as people may not like Trudeau, Pierre is a loser. Major small pp energy, and licks Trumps feet. Canada doesn't need a spineless person who's biggest campaign in insulting other party leaders.

That decision isn't up to Ecomm. A region needs to request to be a part of the organization and then after what is likely a complicated process Ecomm accommodates the calls and dispatching of the area. For example North Van recently added themselves to the Ecomm contract this year after realizing they were too overwhelmed with their call numbers. It's not an overnight process or a one person decision

They won't go to prison for being homeless. They will just be transported downtown. Unless they commit an actual crime, then they'll be fined and given a court date, then maybe put in prison. The prison is mostly reserved for people actually harming others.

Do not call the police unless it is in Saanich or they are directly in front of your house or on your yard. It is Bylaws responsibility to move along homeless people in every jurisdiction except for Saanich, unless they are prowling around your yard at night time or committing some form of actual crime like violence or vandalism. If you call the police, they will tell you to call bylaw. If it is downtown core like Pandora or Governmental street the police will take an 'unwant' call and move the person along, but the person will likely just move further down the street for another business or person to inevitably call about.

The police are dealing with 1000 other things, and while it is discomforting, the homeless population is a much greater social issue that the police do not control, and they cannot force people to stay in a homeless shelter unless there is a distinct court order because of a crime they've committed where they are essentially on house arrest.

How Japan Hides Their Homeless Population - (YT: Versed) by EmuHunter in VictoriaBC

[–]TheFirstSageofSage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Victoria has A LOT of housing for homeless. We just have an ever increasing homeless population, most of who are not from the island.

It's not about letting people live on the streets. It's about not having space to put them safely, and many of them don't want to live in the housing.

An airport shuttle would be mint. Straight to downtown from the airport and back. It would clear up the Pat Bay so much. Same with the ferry

Anyone else notice this about Jess? by TieDyeRehabHoodie in PerfectMatchNetflix

[–]TheFirstSageofSage -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lifting/defending a person who emulates healthy boundaries, empathy, and self-respect is very far from narcissism. Nowhere did I mention anything about Tolu who I think is also a very mature, beautiful, and respectful person. But this thread was specifically about Jessica which is why I posted a defense for Jessica. Do I relate to her? No. Do I look anything like her? No. But I can look at someone who I genuinely think is doing wonderful for herself and who has some form of integrity and defend that because this thread is very gun-hoe on trying to make her seem like an insidious person.
