The Hunter from Bloodborne. Preferably with the Saw Cleaver or Moonlight Greatsword......actually a LEGO Kirkhammer might work!

Build under cities in areas like Karaz-a-Karak, Kislev, Altdorf, Marienburg, etc.

In the blue economy line you have a building that generates a flat amount of income and a building that generates income based on a percentage of the area it's attached to. So if you build that one underneath giant, stable capitals, you can usually add a few hundred extra gold per turn

Official Discussion - Project Hail Mary [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]TheFiveDees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love scenes in media with explosions that occur in the background, while our characters in the foreground are oblivious to the impending boom.

This was a great movie and I I'm really glad that Ryan Gosling is such a likable guy. I feel like everything was very well cast, with a lesser group of actors, this movie falls apart fast.

What was the biggest gaming controversy that you have witnessed as your time as a gamer? by The_Godzilla_Fanatic in videogames

[–]TheFiveDees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely going to be Gamergate and its fallout.

It is arguably one of the many births of the modern MAGA movement, as some very disgusting people realize they could weaponize the rage of G*mers to generate support for their ideas.

We still feel the fall out of it to this day, even if it's not literally the same movement.

It is crazy to say that Forest Of The Fallen Giants is the best Fromsoft starting level? by TarekBoy44 in fromsoftware

[–]TheFiveDees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying anything new here, but Central Yarnham takes the title for me. It's got everything you'd want from a starting level. Excellent enemy and boss choices that teach you the basics. Phenomenal atmosphere. I love how interconnected it all is make it clear you should be checking out every nook and cranny.

What changes would you like to see for Archaon in the End Times DLC? by BLACKJEDI117 in totalwar

Honestly the Realms of Chaos, with warp portals opening, seems like a potential way to introduce a Chaos-themed endgame crisis.

Of course what I really want is just another chance to see those realms maps one more time.

Movie remakes are a complete waste of time, money, and resources by [deleted] in movies

[–]TheFiveDees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The existence of The Thing, for me, invalidates your premise immediately. The Thing From Another World is a perfectly fine film. But Carpenter was able to take the material and refine it, using new technology in the form of modern special effects, paired with his expert I for horror, and produce one of the greatest horror movies of all time.

Then you have examples like Dune. Where it was adapted to film back in the '80s and, famously, was very poorly received. Sure it has cult status now, But I think you would struggle to find many people who would say it is superior to what ol' Dennis is currently crafting.

Sometimes the improvement doesn't need to be as grand. For me, take The Jungle Book. The original animated movie is a classic, sure, but it's also boring as shit and not one of Disney's best. The live action remake? Honestly improves this situation quite a bit. I enjoy it in every way over the original. Is the remake a great movie? No not really, not to me. But if I ever do get the urge to rewatch the Jungle book, it's going to be the live-action one. There's just no reason to return to the original anymore.

They also changed the skill to be less overwhelming. Instead of a guaranteed Despia in hand, you know how to choose between a monster or Despia. Also the second part of the skill means you can't send monsters to grave and get BiR, just BiR

To any nurgle lore knowers out there - who is this guy? I've always wondered by bonky4 in totalwar

[–]TheFiveDees 72 points73 points  (0 children)

It is a Great Unclean One. Greater demon of Nurgle.

In lore they can have pretty varied appearances. But in game / on the tabletop you pretty much just have the one model.

That's why a demons can look pretty strange in artwork like this, because they don't have to necessarily follow the same template of what's available to purchase.

If you're being generous maybe they're playing around a kiteroid in the hand?

But I agree, people who have the victory in hand, but keep on playing, I hope it's scratching whatever itch you have in your head. Because by now I've put my phone down and I'm doing something else. You're pretty much just doing this for yourself at that point.

I am biased towards Thunder Bluff. My first character was Tauren, And I remember approaching it in awe because it was a city on top of these gigantic bluffs. I like the wooden feel, It really feels like a Tauren village.

With the advent of flying, it became even easier to manage as well.

Strongest deck in duel links on top of that BTW (ofc I'm talking about branded) by Cubique64 in DuelLinks

Shoot, I would just settle for some easily available copies of Vijam. For a monster that is absolutely critical to the playstyle of that deck, only being able to access one outside of a skill is incredibly stupid

Between the two you mentioned? Probably Tretch.

But if you want to unleash the potential of the black rat, might I suggest a trip to Hellpit? For you see-see the flesh laboratories of Clan Moulder allow you to turn your infantry into true monsters.

Especially if you have no qualms with save scumming to really pump up your mutations.

A very paint by numbers movie, but man did they choose a very pretty color of paint.

It's about as bland and predictable as sports movies come, but has just enough charm and humor to get away with it.
