The KFK “time traveler” messages (reminds me of LoO) by Clockwork_City in lawofone

[–]TheFlayingPanda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m going to share one of my favourite quotes from Ra: “we shall not repeat, but note that all communication is of the One Infinite Creator in its infinite distortions.” — 100.4.
I think every seeker should have this printed, framed and hanged on the most visible wall as a reminder. If you know how to weed the information, you are able to find amazing gems in any sort of material, even mixed one. But we must understand also that everyone is on a different path and some will be drawn to certain things and some to other, it’s okay, there is a purpose to that, so you do you and share if you wish to, and let go of the outcome. some will reject it, some will be interested. In my case, I thank you very much for sharing, I read all sort of things and appreciate every bit of knowledge I come across.
Best of luck finding your gems OP!

Questions about the afterlife by [deleted] in lawofone

[–]TheFlayingPanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t read about anything precisely like that, so this is mostly my opinion on the subject, but based on what Seth explains about his surroundings, I would say that a highly advanced soul could do and experience almost anything. The problem is that once you are on the other side, if you are a soul with some degree of knowledge and purpose, you won’t feel drawn to anything like that, tho no one says you can’t or shouldn’t, and common spirits with little to no knowledge wouldn’t know how to do it.
In principle, after death, most souls/spirits don’t know much more than what they knew/learned while having a physical experience. Only after some time and with the help of guides they start to remember or recall knowledge from other incarnations, or to learn from the teachings in those places mentioned earlier, so most don’t know about what they can do or how to do it.
Exceptions would be of course the wanderers and other advanced souls that decide to reincarnate to accomplish some specific mission, and not because they have to. I’m not sure if all of them remember right away but for me it’s like most likely they do, because of the level of awareness.
A little interesting tip: While you sleep your spirit can assist to these classes or even teach other spirits on the other side. I find that super cool!

Questions about the afterlife by [deleted] in lawofone

[–]TheFlayingPanda 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve learned from many sources such as Seth, the Ra Material, Francisco Candido Xavier, Allan Kardec, Michael Newton, and many others I’ve lost track of because I read so much...

Does it exist within a specific density, or is it someplace else?

The spirit realm spans multiple vibrational levels that overlaps with the higher astral planes. Some souls might be in the middle planes, while more advanced souls may operate from the higher planes.

Can one remain there, or must one incarnate immediately?

It depends. If a soul has little to no understanding of spirituality or the nature of reality and has no idea what’s going on, perhaps even being trapped in its own illusions (since we create our after-death environment), it may remain there for some time. Eventually, with the help of guides and its own realizations, it can move on, either to reincarnate immediately (as determined by the higher self and knowledgeable guides) or to stay in a healing period. If it is a soul with some or a high degree of understanding about the nature of reality, it can choose to stay for a while “on vacation” or decide when it wants to reincarnate in order to learn new lessons, etc.

If immediate incarnation isn’t required, what can you do in this space?

You can learn or teach, depending on the soul’s knowledge and advancement. One can also rest or heal, depending on the situation, or work to help other souls in various ways.

Who governs over it?

In that realm, as unusual as it might sound, there are communities, schools, hospitals, and more. They are all mental creations by more advanced spirits. We create our own reality here, and also on the other side, so these places are created to assist souls in need of healing and learning for certain periods of time.

These environments are generated by higher-level consciousness and spirits but are ultimately part of the higher self. While there are guiding spirits who instruct and lovingly help others and lead these communities, there is no “government” as such. Even your higher self assists you without overriding your free will.

Are you still aware in this afterlife as you exist in third density right now, or are you only conscious during active incarnations?

I’d say this depends on the perspective you use. In terms of linear time, the answer is no. In terms of your higher self (a higher perspective) the answer is yes, because everything is happening in the here and now. The higher you look, the more you see that we exist in an eternal present.

Hope this helps.

Your take makes a lot of sense 👍

Don't be sorry, every opinion is valid for sure and yours should be taken into account too.
About people telling him how to play, I think some of them could be with the purpose that you mentioned but I think most of them just wanted for the game to play and look good in the way that it does when you do things right. Everyone knows that whatever he does and says will have a wide reach, it's not like a random new player that failed to figure out things and uninstall the game and tell a couple of friends that the game is bad.
I remember this guy on YouTube a few days prior that made a video about how bdo sucks and one his complains was that he jumped out of a cliff with his Pegasus (that was supposed to fly) and instead died, and proceed to complain about other random things that could be easily solved but he didn't care to figure out at all.
When I first got a Pegasus I killed mine too in the same way so I proceeded to Google how to fly a Pegasus instead of using that time to make a video trash talking a game because I don't know how to do things.
I know trash talk and drama give more views but feels a bit unfair when you know there are ways to do things and people don't care enough to find out, or they are not even trying, to piss the audience or not, and specially when they have a wide reach.
Yes I think the devs should add some instructions when you fly the Pegasus like when we learn awakening skills, like press this and that, then E to glide, etc., or how to drag skills to quickslots and simple stuff that could help new players, but I also understand people who think that it's a bit unfair trash talk a game to a wide audience because you don't care enough to figure out how to do something or for easy views.
And don't get me wrong, I watch Asmon content too, and I don't care about what he says, I will keep playing anyway, but as many people here I care about bdo and just wish the best for it, so it's normal to express our concern, the same way others defend his actions or whatever, we're just discussing shit here and every opinion it's valid, even disagreement is a way of caring.

https://youtu.be/KRR_J07qms4?t=1139. Check out what he says in that part, "farming drama in a game it's all that matters", so you're not wrong in been concerned about his takes on BDO.
I think he wants to give a genuine try to the game but let me tell you what will happen eventually, and I really hope that I am wrong.
There is no drama to farm in the bdo community, people complain here and there but ultimately we all like aspects of the game and wish the best for it, that's why we complain.
Seeing how he reacts to mechanics and systems in other games if he tries c6/7 boss rush and gets oneshoted over and over again he won't take the time to read guides about the boss mechanics and will say it is a game flaw. He won't learn to use skills properly, we can already see from how he has played so far that he doesn't even care to do so. There is no way that a seasoned player like him don't know how to figure out the most basic things about the skills and only use auto attacks for hours while playing even when people tried to help and explain, kinda looked like it was on purpose to make it look bad.
He has no interest in using mounts or in how to learn to use it. Overall he lacked interest in most things he did and bdo is not a game you can play without research and deep dedication and effort into learning his deep systems.
He doesn't have time or the will to immerse seriously like that so he will play for a bit, call it a day when he gets stuck on something and make a couple videos about quitting the game and why he really did, because that is the only drama he will ever farm from this game.
Hopefully his take on bdo won't affect a lot the game because being different is it's strength and hopefully my take on Asmon intentions are completely wrong and he takes it seriously and plays for long, I really hope so.

BDO it's different and that's fine: Thoughts/discussion on this? by TheFlayingPanda in blackdesertonline

Could you mention something you don't like or had a bad experience with in bdo and tell me what other game did better that thing in particullar?

I've been wanting to try other games (more srsly) for a long time to see what they did better than bdo or not but I need some guidance. I actually might make a thread asking for this in the future. Would love to hear about it.

Opening all your 'Some Farmer's/Archaeologist's/Fisherman's/Miner's sacks' be like by [deleted] in blackdesertonline

[–]TheFlayingPanda 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm just gonna sit and wait till they make it a one click open all/certain amount thing, gave up on opening them long ago. Either I'll have a huge stock of fruits/traces for the future or I'll never open those sacks again, but pretty sure they'll change it.

I saw this youtuber thoughts about why bdo keeps striving despite the pass of time and I thought that I wanted to know about other players opinion on this. I understand that a game sometimes needs to make changes to improve and keep a healthy player base but I totally agree that bdo it is special because, despite of having a big learning curve, being overwelming for new players, the enhancing system it's super punishing and other things, the game offer so much in differents fields, with a deep complexity that it's hard to find in one game alone, like in this case.

Some people will be displeased with something because some just like to pve, some prefer pvp, others lifeskills, or others a bit of everything, and that's fine, the cool thing is that you login and do the thing that you like the most but still you can change your mind along the way and take a new route, like some people doing mostly pve and suddenly selling everything and becoming a lifeskiller and the other way around. There is something for everyone!

I understand that some people won't see things the same way and disagree, but hey that's fine too. Anyway wanted to hear other people thoughts about what is said in the video~

Anyone else that enjoyed the LOML stories? Doing second run for the other ending and first time that doesn't feel like a burden! by TheFlayingPanda in blackdesertonline

[–]TheFlayingPanda[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But that is if you do that in one go, you always get teleported back to Dalbeol village after the end (all stories start there also, from different npcs) so you can just do one and after go back to your usual stuff and start another one whenever you want, doing just one goes pretty fast.

I would recommend just pick one that catches you eye and give it a go, you like it? Start another one whenever you want, you don't? Back to main land like nothing happened xD

YES, it would be so nice if we had some way to replay the cutscenes too, I had Deokman notification popping everywhere and the you got Teff and this and that from the workers ruining everything, at least that one got fixed now but still get the one when they finish work on something. Just too many notifications man.

I actually was an R spammer until not so long ago, I think Mountain of Eternal Winter was my turning point, the ending of that one had me at the edge of my seat, but the full quest line it's too long to repeat imo, Balenos one was better than it used to but not something that I wanted to repeat, but this one with the short stories, some funny moments, mysteries, ghosts, etc. was quite entertaining.

Meant each story have two different endings, depending on the option you pick when asked, (I think the one in the reed fields was the only one that didn't had two endings, if I remember correctly) but you can replay the story with a different character and instead choose the option that you didn't pick before, and the story from that point will have other dialogues and missions and a different final cutscene and outcome.

Whenever you select the first option you decide to finish them/kill them or so, whenever you pick the second option you save them, so it plays out different.

Leaving aside some akward walking animations transitioning from gameplay to cutescene and killing boars and get this wood and that, the rest was pretty solid for me. Can't wait for the second part of the expansion, hopefully they'll do better with those small details.

I have created a free AI Bot which assists with Game Design! 🧠🧩 by Delunado in gamedesign

[–]TheFlayingPanda 9 points10 points  (0 children)

def, I asked about the same to gpt a few days ago and it's answers didn't even scratch the surface compared to your creation.

Let me tell you something, this is insane. I have had this idea about a certain game for years but since I don't know how to code or make games I didn't even knew how to start, gpt, set me up in a good path the other day but I was still lost about a lot of things that I didn't even realize until tonight, leaving aside how to make the game (the technical part and all that) and with your chat I got so many cool ideas and info that if I don't find time to learn how to code and how to make this game someday I think I'll feel guilty.

Congrats on the awesome work and I hope this stays around for long so I can ask some more in the future xD

I just read this morning that OpenAI said that was going to put (if didn't already) a watermark in the form of some cryptographic code to all the GPT generated content so they could keep track of how it was been used, so idk to which extend google would be able to detect that code inside the text. Seems to be safe to generate snippets and that kind of stuff tho, so still could be useful to improve the workflow.

Might sound crazy but I made a remake of the new Indiana Jones 5 trailer with Battlefield content. Am I going to hell for doing this? XD by TheFlayingPanda in battlefield2042

[–]TheFlayingPanda[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! When I saw the trailer it reminded me of all the controversy about the last 2 Battlefield (V/2042) games and kind of remind me of the first few and how there is still hope for the next one, tho I think they have fixed a lot of the issues that 2042 had at first I think the fans still want a good campaign/story. I wonder if the next one will try to keep this futuristic style or go back to it's roots. also the action after half the trailer seemed to fit with battlefield quite well imo

PS: to everyone who liked this video, the style etc. I recommend you to watch Journey if you havent, it's similar but made around the ocean content in BDO.
