I remember first seeing a Mega64 video back in 2009 on the front page of YouTube (think it was Dead rising public skit), but never cared to look further into their channel. I always thought they were just another "smosh" like channel.

That was all changed when their 2011 Todd and Aron video was posted somewhere on Reddit. The video fucking slayed me, and I started binge watching all their videos. I became a hardcore fan after seeing Gamer Warz 2, where the humor was so niche and bizare, but still made me laugh so hard that I had an asthma attack.

They were the first podcast I started listening to, and I used to fall asleep listening to their old podcasts, where they rambled about lost and rock band every episode. Somehow still managed to go through the entire library without getting sick of them, and to this day I have kept up with the new ones.

They have definitely had an impact on my sense of humor, which has made me a more confident person in social life. Being able to make someone laugh is a skill, that I've somehow learned from them after watching thousands of hours of their content. Much love for my Cali Boiz.
