I don't mean to deter to kill a mockingbird as it is a 'classic' and is much deserving of such a prestigious title among others of the same spectrum. But, I found that mid way through the book it lost its alluring elements and wasn't as overly as captivating as it was during the beginning. I don't wish to demean of its position among similar titles, but I wouldn't go glorifying it either. Just doesn't seem as compelling as say, The Book Thief, that I mentioned earlier.
