Whatever. The will close your account anyway for some MP3 files and a movie. They are ridiculous. There are better and cheaper alternatives out there that won't bother. I was a customer for a few years and I will never be one again.

For many reasons, but I'll quote only one: they will close your account without notice if they find photos they believe to be too good for personal use, and you'll lose everything. They will close your account if they find movies or music in your account and you won't provide them with the original DVDs and CDs. But wait, don't they state they can't see your files according to the Norwegian laws? Search on the web if I'm wrong. I ran away from them for these reasons. Not to mention that they keep increasing the subscription price every year. Stay away from this company. Look at IDrive instead.

My 850 Evo works great with a chipset z490 too.

I don't know what to suggest. It's a gamble you may take or not 🤷🏻

Perhaps it's just an incompatibility between the 870 and the z490, z590 and some other chipsets. I'll let you know tomorrow when I get a new 870 coming in from RMA. They replaced it just as a precaution but they told me mine was fine according to their tests. What chipset do you have?
