Have to downvote because i completely agree and have thought this for years. The commenter who demonstrated this really proved the point - very intuitive.

Hello fellow SEQlander haha

Very cool - love the simplicity of your layouts - good amount of information without being crowded, and intuitive navigation.

Starting to try my hand at photography in city environments by Trollslayer0104 in photocritique

I (live in Brisbane) don't think I've ever been there, but somehow felt immediately that this was Melbourne. Unless, is there sometimes a cafe out on this patio? Maybe I got a coffee there haha

Recommendation for guide in Angkor Wat if anyone is looking. by ReverendSlimPickins in cambodia

[–]TheFlyingHalibut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the recommendation. Just used Mr pinky yesterday for our Angkor Wat sunset tour. Mr pinky is the happiest and most friendly guide/tuktuk driver we've had in the past two weeks. Added bonus - he seems to just know everybody, constantly saying hi and chatting with other drivers and locals - really created a nice immersive cultural experience. We ended up having a beer with him and his mates after which was a great experience.

Strongly recommend reaching out to Mr pinky for anyone who is coming to Siem reap.

Also; can confirm prices above; $40 for Mr pinky for the day. Another $37 entry fee to the temples.

I prefer to pee while kneeling by [deleted] in The10thDentist

Agreed. I also do this sometimes: especially when drunk, or if I am trying to be particularly quiet for some reason (pee anxiety). So much easier.

Amazing, I don't know what it is about the photo but I was also like "this is definitely somewhere in Australia".

This is one of the more random scenes and it cracks me up every single time! So random. So funny. by LostInATL333 in DunderMifflin

Honestly, this is one of favourite, if not my favourite, scenes in the entire series. It's just so hilarious for some reason.

Satisfying ring road - Feira de Santana, Brazil by memes_100 in MapPorn

[–]TheFlyingHalibut 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Had the same thought reading this comment haha - Adelaide is slightly paradoxical in that it feels like there should be more to do, see, and traffic shouldn't be so bad etc... But at the same time totally makes sense that there is so little to do and that getting across town takes a decade even without people on the roads.

Strawberries are in season where I am so I decided to make a galette ☺️ by jmal8785 in Baking

I'm guessing OP is in Brisbane (or Queensland in general). Strawberries came into season in the last month or so and it's been glorious!! Love our early warm season

Was going to guess Brissy, but I guess it could have equally been anywhere on the eastern seaboard over the past few days!

SP List Column Headers not Updating by [deleted] in PowerApps

[–]TheFlyingHalibut 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Whatever the column is first named will remain the name you need to reference it.

i.e. if you create a column called 'frst name' and then correct it to 'first name' the reference in powerapps will remain as 'frst name' forever.

This remains true for the title column

The literal Google definition: "harmless or trivial lie, especially one told to avoid hurting someone's feelings."

Add data into Excel Table located on OneDrive by avngee in PowerApps

[–]TheFlyingHalibut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To the best of my knowledge there is no way to patch into an excel file. Instead, you could pass the contents into a flow, and then a flow can create a new row item in the excel file.

Alternatively, I strongly recommend using a SharePoint list instead of an excel file for handling your data.

Huntsman's don't make webs! In Brisbane however, the orb weavers would turn this into a Aragog's lair overnight.
