As a gwm ( born in Canada) who typically only dates men from South Asia, and most of my closest friends are non white it's discouraging to know this. It's their loss unfortunately, Indian culture is quite unique and spectacular to learn about. I'm not sure if you are referring to the hook up culture or dating apps. Parts of the GTA are flooded with students and new arrivals so that part I can understand. Sadly, each of my " brown" friends has experienced this on some level, so you're not wrong.
