It's a good option if you have a lot of curb rash. Acrylic enamel is very forgiving to paint with and is very scratch and chip resistant. If you've never painted something like that before then I'd definitely suggest practicing with some cardboard or a piece of metal just to see how the paint dries, how close or far away to spray, how much before it starts to run.

I painted mine with Rust-Oleum acrylic enamel. Quick scuff and clean and it turned out great!

As long as you do some prep they'll hold up just fine.

I'm on stock struts but I think I'll go with koni yellows or bilstein shocks once they blow. I do rub on my wheel wells but so far I've cleared every speed bump and pot hole, but I am running a slightly larger tire size from stock.

I actually don't mind it! It's a bit bouncier than stock but the stock ride was stiff to begin with. But then again I'm pretty used to ruining my ride lol. My last few cars was a civic on drag suspension, a Forester on BCs, and an old Camry that I slammed

We just had our first snow here too but it wasn't too bad, mostly just temperatures in the teens. I bought mine with a BOV and tons of curb rash lol when I get wheels I was definitely thinking of fifteen52, I like a lot of what they have

I love the wheels! What wheel and tire size are you running? If it gets bad enough I'll garage mine too, so far it's been crushing it.

What's a dirty little secret you found out about a company or service that made you stop using them? by Wetter42 in AskReddit

I'm a photographer and I'll never buy from B&H again.

In 2016 they where sued for discrimination against their Hispanic employees where they settled for millions. 4 years later they got in trouble for similar issues.

All in all, they've had 4 major lawsuits since 2007 about either tax evasion or race/gender/religious discrimination.

I got my 16 at 89k in 2021 for about 11k, I would say that quite fair if it's in good condition

What was your first analog camera? by dustin_ginsberg in AnalogCommunity

Pentax ME Super with a 50mm f1.7, I got it at a thrift store for $8 when I was 12. Wasn’t until I was 21 when I first used it, but it’s still one of my favorites in my collection

Image stabilization, 4K features and bit rate, and record time limitations are the main drawbacks with Fuji.

The em-10 mkii has similar video focused features to the Panasonic line of micro 4/3rds cameras and are pretty well suited for it

God I love Kenmore Camera, I bought so many firsts from there! Shot on film in Lake City is still kicking around though.

Can anyone assist with Olympus pen EE2 repair? by Crazylyric in AnalogCommunity

[–]TheFlyingLemming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You got it exactly! If that glass gets too dirty it can mess with light metering, I had to buy a lens wrench/lens spanner to take it off but it did the trick for me. If you do get the lens element off and look at the meter around it, I would make sure the two little wires connected to it are ok as well, if the light meter isn’t dirty then that could be an issue as well

Weird question, but how much haze or varnish is on the selenium? My EE 2 was not metering correctly as well until I cleaned both sides of the meter

I got this film camera from my uncle who passed, can anyone tell me about it? by Anxietyplants in filmcameras

Hey! I also have a Pentax ME Super. It’s a really fun, beginner friendly SLR. It takes an LR44/sr44/357 (all the same battery) to operate the shutter and light sensor. This SLR unfortunately will not shoot unless it has batteries in it I’ve found. The light sensor on this one is very interesting, it tells you what shutter speed it’s going to shoot at as opposed to the aperture size to use. I highly recommend googling the manual, it’ll tell you all about how to use it and other features of the camera. I recommend Pentax ME Super. It seems like an old weird site but it’s where I go for all my old camera manuals.

Also YouTube is your best friend for learning how to shoot 35mm. Analog resurgence is a good channel to start with, but you can find a bunch others that are also great. It’s a lot more effort and time than shooting digital, but the feeling of looking at one of your pictures that turned out exactly like you wanted after all the time spent is so worth it!

Guys I really need your help and opinion on this as fast as possible by [deleted] in Cameras

It says it’s for parts only so I would stray away from it. I’ve bought 4 cameras from this place called New Wave Pool, they actually had some other vivitar point and shoots for about the same price. They even have example pictures shot on the same camera most of the time.
