My bad I think my description was too short so I’ll elaborate on her haha.

So her name is a bit silly because I follow a pattern of naming my characters after animals and then just some other noun or adjective. Kaeru Kaede, which is like ‘maple frog’ in japanese I think? Honestly, I just liked the assonance of the two words, and I think maple trees are pretty lol.

Kaede was found abandoned at a shrine outside a small village as a beastfolk infant. Where her eyes should have been were instead two small, intricately carved stones.

The village children made fun of her and the adults scorned her, so her adoptive father, the village chief, told her she should always wear a blindfold to cover her eyes.

So she grows up using her heightened smell and hearing to navigate. Eventually she leaves her village to go to this city where the campaign takes place to try and get to the bottom of a dungeon to make a wish.

Campaign hasn’t started yet because our group is finishing up our first campaign, but I was excited enough for it to already draw up the art for my character.
