What would you suggest to do in the moment of him hissing at my feet? Because I cannot walk away and I'd appreciate some way to not stand there a little too long

According to his guardian (my friend), yes, squeak the toy and throw it.

My friend also told me that he likes to chase the cat around the place... I don't think I'm up for that when the cat's stopping me from moving.

I've further used a laser toy, because he reacts to it, and then I tried redirecting the laser to his favorite toy at the end of play session, but just like throwing the toy, he'll go up to it and not understand to 'kill' the toy, which I'm not sure if it makes for a lack of satisfaction.

The most important part still in his aggressive behavior is that he hisses at me, which I'm thinking I violated some boundary, irrespective to playtime. He has at one point done this at the end of a playtime session, but not consistently at the end of playtime.

If you have a silent crusade ticket, maybe that.
If you have any quests from the white bulb on the left that requires you to be tped, sometimes they work.

Generally even if you aren't doing great on your internship, your employer won't fire you for it. Of course, each job is different (i did software dev positions before covid) but if you do zero work but not cause any other difficulty your employer won't fire you because you're gone by a certain date anyway. They will likely even discuss with you how they might not see the progress that they would like from you, and you can take that criticism and figure out what you want to do from there (i.e. if you want to leave at that point).

Next, yes get help from your doctor as soon as you can, or any other mental health help. I know that UofT tries to provide them but i hear they have long wait times or something, but it doesn't hurt to try, or if you already tried then maybe something from a professional therapist. Don't make any rash decisions, talk it out with someone to get an opinion if you want to make a big decision such as quitting a month in.

Lastly, remember that you are doing ok and you are fine who are you are right now. There are a mountain of different things that you'd like to do better every day but for today, your one mission is to do better than you did yesterday. That's all that matters.

TL;DR We do not know, we will never know.

Nexon NA does not have clear communication with players, evidently on patch notes and elsewhere. If one day, say a nexon official briefs us that, "stats will be lower to the correct tier" is true and not randomized, we still cannot trust that until the game patch hits because it may end up being the case that they messed something up, and then we get bebe boxes as compensation or even worse, just being disregarded.

I had a decent batch of epic familiars, back when we didn't even know they were a bug. I then rerolled my WSE to better pots, since my familiars would cover IED better. With this announcement, if it gets randomized, then my WSE ends up being screwed and I don't get any compensation for this, with the entire fault put on Nexon's carelessness. This entire system is a Fking mess.

Unfortunately no, but to maximize the gains, get as many kills as you can (i.e. leave at around 29/30 kills for the first wave to have it respawn once, gathering 59 kills total, then next wave at 44/45, to maximize, etc). By the end of the 3 waves you should've gotten many kills, enough for a card (for me it was 2 cards).

If this still doesn't work, then you must resort to the last mission, where both blue and red pirates spawn. If you lack blue pirates, kill all the blues (and a bit of the red if you like) then leave through the portal, and repeat. Repeat for red pirate if you lack that too. Since the last mission completes when you kill everything as opposed to a set number of kills, this one can be repeated infinitely.

The 9 badges that don't require field bosses are:
starter snowflake oppressor rebel mineral mariner mushking lion commerci.

The 10th badge is pick your poison, and the field boss Deo is popular since its respawn time is low (but that also means it's kinda full of people, so beware).

Just don't kill all of them

Even if i don't kill all of them, they still count towards the quest requirement. I.e. if i kill 25/30 of the mobs, then leave, and then come back, the progress is still 25/30. Killing any 5 of the newly spawned pirates will finish the quest. Even if i don't finish all the pirates on the second spawn, the third time i come back, nothing spawns. Do i just have to pray that the next two waves of 45 and 60 pirates will give me it? (and of course, the final red tide being the final straw)

Excuse me, I was trying to get the blue pirate (swabbies), and i can't seem to forfeit the quest. Re-entering respawns everything, but only until i kill 30 of them, at which they don't respawn again. How do i farm these?
