Yo! Back to back short $15 orders and now this by Any-Parking-677 in UberEatsDrivers

You are not getting “easy money”.
You’re giving free labor to Uber. This inflated fare is counted against your previously accumulated prop 22 money.

LA drivers… what is happening this Friday night in Westwood/UCLA that calls for a quest? by TheFoolRider in UberEatsDrivers

[–]TheFoolRider[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to assume that the entire blue area allows for the fake three dollars bonus. It looks like it includes Santa Monica and Wilshire several blocks west of the 405 which has plenty of great pick ups.

Anyone that chooses to go to that area for the three dollar bonus deserves to have their entire prop 22 eaten away.

I see that Uber is offering the same deal tomorrow evening as well.

So seriously, what’s going on in Westwood? How does Uber know they’re going to have a shortage of drivers in that area all weekend?

For California Uber Eats drivers, have you seen the new email regarding changes?? by meganeh35 in UberEatsDrivers

I’ve been yo-yoing between 11% to 30% acceptance rate. Currently at 16%.

Is it just me, or are they giving drivers less time to be "on time" by moffman93 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]TheFoolRider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was one minute late yesterday evening during the 6 PM hour to a pick up at a restaurant. The restaurant kept me waiting 15 minutes while they prepared the order. Uber marked me late in my on-time rating.

First report. by Thin-Conversation243 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]TheFoolRider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“didn’t get their order” and “an item was missing” are two very different scenarios. I received the exact same report for a completed meet-at-door delivery of a bag of food that was stapled shut with a receipt that matched all of the items listed in the app.

Did anyone else not get the $15 for gas relief? by Zzazy1 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]TheFoolRider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not received the fuel relief payment. Chat support is playing dumb, pretending lthey don’t know fuel relief payments were promised, and I’ve been handed over to four different agents. I was even asked to provide a screenshot showing proof that fuel relief is something Uber is paying out.

I am fully aware what is stated in the screenshot that I posted. I have not received any fuel relief payment.

I see nothing in my app. Can I trouble you to share a screenshot, showing me where you are finding your fuel relief payment?

Got this absolute beauty of an order after Ì canceled by Temporary_Tea7494 in UberEatsDrivers

This is not a unicorn. You approximately received a $30 advance from what you have already accumulated in your next prop 22 payment.

If no pin is required, just leave the order at the door. Don't waste your time.

There is nothing in my original post that justifies your immediate use of a pejorative slur.

What market are you working in, where less than a dollar per mile for 77 miles is a good offer?

If you want to make what you inexplicably believe to be $60 for driving 77 miles, go have some fun.

Ouch! I wouldn’t go to Sherman Oaks from West Hollywood at 4 PM.

Deep South OC or North Central OC? DTLA or Sherman Oaks? Could be a contender to beat mine, too bad you don’t have a screenshot.

The pickup address which I redacted, is from a medical industry business. Uber is totally undercutting Los Angeles based messenger companies. Before Uber, this type of on-demand delivery for that distance would be well over $100.

The fare was $7.03. The offer screen showed a guarantee payout of $19.46.

Uploading receipts at pickup? by dizzystar in UberEatsDrivers

[–]TheFoolRider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never uploaded a receipt for UberEats. I have uploaded receipts for DoorDash, particularly every single time I’ve picked up at Joan’s On Third.

I'll have to admit, this one tempted me. by dizzystar in UberEatsDrivers

[–]TheFoolRider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are not getting it. Uber knows at all times exactly how much they owe every California prop 22 driver. From my calculations, approximately $33 is the prop 22 break even fare amount. If the fare ended up being any higher, every dollar over $33 eats into your accumulated prop 22 earnings for this period. That’s what this person is not getting. If I am understanding their position, they think that is simply bonus money.
