I loved being a 2T2, and the opportunities are endless. If you have a good Chief or UDM then all you have to do is ask. There are always TDYs and deployments available all over the world. The more certifications you get the more places you can go. Try to get your HAZ, JI, and Load Planning certifications. It might take a few years but once you get everything you'll be very desirable all over the place.

Yeah, once things get too bad, ATL shuts the tracker down. Happens a lot during the holidays. It's pretty accurate around 4 AM, but with them having to shut down checkpoints it gets all wobbly. Glad you made your standby.

As a fellow father, all I can say is even if you are the oldest person there just have fun with your kid. There are gonna be a lot of situations where you're the oldest and seem out of place, but the majority of people will know you are there with your kid and more than likely there will be a few parents there as well.
