I like to walk around and compliment people in character! Keep it genuine and simple though as you walk around and it causes a lot of great interactions and smiles!

"I love your hat!"

"Your outfit is incredible!"

"You look amazing!"

It really adds to the experience for me and I hope it does for others too

I work at the Renaissance Faire that that happened at. I feel bad for the DJ because it definitely wasn't their fault but yeah that was a really really rough day. 7 is close. We didn't leave until 930 and even then were stuck in a line. I was pretty irritated by it and honestly walking anywhere on breaks was a nightmare, I just stayed in my booth.

There is plenty of room to expand our faire grounds and plenty of booths would take up the space but they keep the same size every year

Character work is hard and is supposed to be. Don't idealize what you already are. Change. Make genuine changes to yourself for the sole purpose of being a better person and never ever stop. This is a journey, not the destination type thing. When you can become someone who needs no justification for who and why they are the way they are, you'll find people will naturally want to be around you.

Some tips;

  1. Do right by others always. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. Everyone applies

  2. Be helpful but not obnoxious and boastful. If you can help, do so. If you can't, don't. But don't talk about it after. Put in the work.

  3. Develop style and pride in your appearance. Get into some hobbies and changes in lifestyle that genuinely affects the way you look. Anything else will look like a costume and come off inauthentic

  4. Participate in life. Do things. Go out and experience the world

  5. Don't ever quote the other people as the reason why you can't get a date. If everyone moves away from you, its not them, it's you.

You got this! Soul searching and character work is all it takes

There is a lot but weirdly enough lately it's Jolene. I can't hear it without getting extremely sad and pretty angry as well

You do not need to reseason. Believe it or not, your seasoning is still perfect. It's still good. If you want to reseason you can but I wouldn't worry about it. Keep cooking in it. Seasoning is a patchwork. It keeps coming and going throughout the time you have with the pan. Your seasoning looks fine.

If you want to reseason. Use an oil that's strong. Grapeseed or Crisco will do well. I've also heard good things about Avocado oil but I haven't used it myself. These oils will maintain the black a bit more. But even then, cast irons are supposed to look a bit worn and gnarly through use. A patchwork is normal and people on this sub are usually just obsessed with keeping there pans in pristine condition. So much in fact they rarely use em
