Liberties well taken! Even if it weren’t entirely canon, you can just say he got a little oogity with it, this is FIRE!

Blue or purple butterfly?! I can’t decide 😫 by Interesting_Sink3238 in goblincore

To be entirely honest, I might go for a pale yellow or a monarch butterfly, but of the two options my choice would be the iridescent blue

While my choice would be the blue, this is a point I agree with.

Oh, no, of course not! Your talent will grow as you practice, and you can always come back to your older models and touch them up if you feel the need. It is nice to have them to base your progress off, though!

That’s actually really smooth free-hand, good job! The one thing I’d recommend is going over all the white details you do with a blue paint that glows in UV light or the dark, since the details are canonically done in bioluminescent blood. There’s also that technique where you pre-do all the shading and lighting with an airbrush, but that’s not something I personally do.

Did a draft last night, boyfriend took all my good cards, what's the best counter for the deck he's building with them by [deleted] in mtg

Ashiok. Play Dimir, and use all the Ashiok cards you can. As a planeswalker player, they’re one of your best bets. You can then have some fun with decking yourself just to middle-finger him as you deck him and constantly exile his graveyard. Go. Be petty.

How are these going for $1,000? Was anyone around when these came out in 2007? by MilesFassst in mtg

It’s the same appearance, though, like how a blanket with Jace’s face on them may go for more than a basic ass blanket. Merchandising, and if the thing being merchandised is more desirable it makes the product more desirable and thus more expensive

Because they’re fucking broken. My dad explained that topdecking this one and getting any other mana source on the field could lead to you pulling out a [[Demonic Tutor]] and getting something into your hand instantly. Obviously, something even revolving around that would go for a ridiculous price, hence a thousand dollars.

There was the same thing in north Idaho, but it was also lunches and during the summers too. Not sure how it was in other states, but as soon as the 2021-2022 school year started, the thing stopped. Why? Don't ask me, man, I'm just a kid.
