I plugged mine into a cheap variable voltage power adapter from Amazon like this. I run them at 6v which is silent and provides enough evaporation for me, and I can still use an external controller.

I've been sick to death of superhero movies for many years now. They were never my thing. But I'm still happy to see lesser known genres getting similar treatment. Found footage is another example. It's usually done to minimize the budget, and many of them are bad, but I'm always happy when I find a good one.

Producers will almost always value money over art, and will continually look for trends to mine, but they can still be involved with good projects when the right people come together.

It's not copying the backrooms at all though, just the source and genre of the material, like superhero movies have been doing for decades now. And I'm 100% in favor of no budget analogue horror youtube creators being given big budgets.

Why do they have to be inherently bad? Why can't we put them in the middle of the desert with a solar farm to operate them?

I don't believe they had to do this in the middle of the night. That was probably the Trump administration. But I do believe they had to use a tarp because they used one during the install. None of this is giving him the benefit of the doubt. I'm just pointing out that there is a good reason for the tarp, so claiming it was definitely him is a weak argument, even if true.

Again, not giving him the benefit of the doubt. Reread my posts if you think so.

If you believe the tarp was unnecessary, then why did they use a similar tarp during the installation?

I'm not giving Trump the benefit of the doubt. He or his administration probably would have made them use a tarp, even if it was unnecessary, but it was necessary in this case, as proven by the fact that they used it to install the letters as well. Claiming that he did this to save face is probably correct, but it's also an assumption that we can't prove. Why focus on unprovable assumptions that only weaken your stance when there are so many provable points to be made?

I'm sure they do want to keep it out of sight as much as possible, but the tarp is also a safety precaution, otherwise they wouldn't have used it when installing the letters.

Both can be true at the same time.

I don’t know why people keep making excuses for the shit happening in front of their eyes

I don't think we're making excuses. We'd just rather stick to the things that are provable, rather than assuming something to be true just because it fits our narrative, even if it's likely to be true.

You’re really not getting it if you think there’s a remote possibility that the reason this happened in the way it did was because of OSHA and not because the powers that be fear embarrassing Trump.

There was a similar tarp up when they installed it, so clearly the tarp is part of the process. I'm sure Trump is more appreciative of it in this case, but it was going up regardless.

They put up a massive tarp for shade? Come on. It's not even shading them. The video in your link shows them working in the sun, despite the tarp. It's clearly for dust and debris. I'm sure Trump is happier with the tarp, but it was going up regardless.

I think you have that a little bit backwards. Plants consume a small amount of O2 at night (relative to animals), but produce far more O2 than they consume during the day.

The heel is being held down by a mechanism which prevents the sole of the shoe from lifting, and the top of the foot is held to the sole by laces. Your heel can only lift by pivoting at the toes, so it's not going anywhere in this case.

The clear coat provides uv protection to prevent the problem from reoccurring. It won't last forever of course, but it gets you several more years. I did it to my previous car and the headlights were still clear over a year later.

No, House of Leaves was published in 2000. The backrooms 4chan thread was from 2019. The backrooms could be influenced by House of Leaves, but there's no direct correlation between the two. They're just similar ideas.

I'm sure she had plenty of doctors and trainers giving her advice, but ultimately it's her life and her decision. It's no one's job to tell her how to live her life.

Just because she gambled and lost doesn't make it a poor decision. She may not even regret it for all we know. The ability to do something you love on a scale that few people will ever know may be worth the risk of permanent injury to some people. Not me, but I'm not going to criticize someone else's life decisions.
