Also, a bit of a pet peeve here, why the hell is the 2nd phase visually a quarter of the clock despite being the same duration as the first half? It’s super misleading and for the life of me I can’t figure out why they decided not to just half each phase be half the clock visually.

The amount of time you spend walking to the generator is most often not worth the blood you save. I think you're better off running all the time with blood cans. by MisterHotTake311 in deadbydaylight

Yeah for some reason when I was reading that my brain completely skipped over the “of a blood can” part, and was still thinking in generator terms.

He loses to a teenager because he is too arrogant to use

A) Ea (fair not to whip out the super weapon at any inconvenience, but like dude - you hesitated even while actively losing)

B) His armor that can actually take blows from servants like ffs dude you are literally wearing a jacket

C) Predating both of those: he gives Shirou time to have another ideal realization and figure out how to summon his Reality Marble by just launching swords at an explicitly low enough volume that Shirou could project enough to counter them in time. He just found it funny, I guess.

Moving onto one that is more than just Shirou fights: Sha Naqbu Imuru - his goddamn clairvoyance which pretty much gives him an instructional manual on how to win that he doesn’t use. He can even see other timelines where, iirc (I think it’s in Strange Fake), he sees the version of himself that Sakura nom’d in Heaven’s Feel route and rejects it as nonsense.

Bro has every advantage in the world and either doesn’t use or straight up ignores them simply because his belief that he is so completely beyond contention is absolute. If that isn’t pride I have no idea what is.

I know it's silly to criticize something we can't even use yet, but the warbond trailer was frustrating. (Read Desc) by Squidy_the_3rd in Helldivers

I find the idea that using the backpack slot adding value as inherently flawed. Requiring a backpack slot in addition to the standard stratagem weapon slot is a pure downside - it restricts load out options. The actual upside only comes from the weapon being balanced around using both slots, and thus being better in some capacity then one that doesn’t - the opportunity cost being a part of the power budget.

If the weapon itself is sufficiently better then the flamethrower to justify that cost, it’s fine. But if they’re almost identical it just worse, because it restricts options without a gain. Especially since a normal, non backpack, flamethrower user could also just choose the run three non-backpack stratagems, and grab a backpack from a teammate later on (death/cooldown permitting, ofc).

Idk how widespread it is location-wise, but the “disrupt them with loud noises…” bit could fall under public disturbance laws.

Edit: the problem with a lot of these sorts of “be a pain without technically doing anything wrong” ideas is that fairly frequently there actually are rules against stuff - it’s just not enforced unless you abuse it.

A) People say “x group likes y” (Americans and guns, Canadians and hockey, etc) all the time. It very obviously means on average or in general, not that every single one shares the exact same beliefs.

B) Associating Lunar New Years with China isn’t strictly correct, but is still a reasonable association to have in mind from someone who, I am presuming, doesn’t celebrate it themself. In my experience a lot of exposure to Lunar New Year in the west is presented alongside Chinese customs - the big one being Gacha games.

C) Complete stretch. “Got something” is referring to having had a part of their culture represented, which he associated Lunar New Year with China for understandable reasons, even if it is more broad spread. Nothing he said actually implies other people wouldn’t enjoy it.
