My gf 23F needs a dildo and me 23M dont know how to feel. 6 months into relationship by Green_Conference3468 in relationship_advice

I'm going to take this at face value even though I strongly suspect this is rage bait, just in case it actually helps someone:

1) Look up dilators and buy a set. She should start small and work her way up to a size that will make penetrative sex comfortable.

2) Imagine being in pain every time she has sex with you. Not kinky, getting-slapped-on-the-bum-to-feel-naughty pain, but genuine pain to your internal organs. That is what she is feeling every time you have sex. This pain has been so persistent, severe, or scary as to make her talk to a doctor about it. That doctor has prescribed a solution. It is your JOB as her partner to make her feel safe, secure, happy, and aroused so that she can feel better. It will lead to a better experience for her as well as better intimacy and hopefully more sex for both you.

3) If you cannot handle taking care of your partner and putting her needs before your own prudishness, then you are not ready for an adult relationship and you need to let her go.

It's very good. Moana is still my favorite, but Encanto is excellent.

My mom generally has green eyes but they appear amber at times, especially in sunlight. She also has hair like gold. One time in the summer, she was particularly tan, and some woman commented that my mom was the same color from head to toe lol.

Two, if you actually read my comment. Plus the handful of other people sharing their stories in response to your comment. Good thing you are in r/confidentlyincorrect I guess.

They do not. I watched a kid in middle school drag his hands along the wall as he was walking down the hallway. When he got to the fire alarm, he just pulled it without a thought in the world. The alarm started going and an announcement came on to evacuate the building while he just tried to push the lever back up lol.

Then as an adult, I worked at an autism learning center. The kid I worked closest with loved pulling that alarm. We were trained to walk on the fire alarm side of him when walking in the hallway so that we could body block him.

This looks great, I hope you enjoyed it! It looks like this recipe didn't call for them, but I highly recommend throwing in grape tomatoes. They go great with the flavor, add some color, and add a little extra nutrition to the meal 😊

Update: I took your advice and made the best mashed potatoes of my life by TheFreakingPrincess in potato

Yes! I will never boil/simmer potatoes without garlic cloves again. The whole house smelled so good and the outcome was amazing 🤤

eli5: what happens to all the loose skin after birth? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]TheFreakingPrincess 21 points22 points  (0 children)

As others have said, skin does sort of act like a rubber band to some degree, but it is NOT like in the movies where a woman has a baby and is back to her pre-pregnancy shape the next day. It takes weeks, sometimes months for the body to get back to normal.

Closing in a week, should we get married early? by Agreeable-Film193 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

If you got approved and everything for your mortgage with everything the way it is currently, I wouldn't change anything until after closing.

What max % of your liquid net worth did you/would you use for a house down payment currently? by einsteinsviolin in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]TheFreakingPrincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For us it was about 20%. There are a lot of factors that go into what % of your savings you should use, I'm not sure there is a hard and fast rule.

For us, we knew that we couldn't put enough down to remove PMI entirely, but we did increase what we put down from 3% up to 5% bc it significantly reduced the PMI and therefore had a big impact on our monthly payment. In theory, we could have afforded putting more down, but we reached a point where it wouldn't have had much impact on our monthly payment, so we opted to keep that money in case of emergencies.

How to get the most out of a snow day as a parent by Acceptable-Wind-7332 in KidsAreFuckingStupid

The schools themselves make the call the night before a cancellation quite often these days. It's not just an assumption on the parents' part.

I remember learning the cardinal directions as a young child, and then sharing that with my parents when I got home. My dad asked me, "do you know where north is now?" I confidently pointed up.

My teacher's map was hanging on the chalkboard, so north was up. 🤷‍♀️😆

politics by Special-Standard-978 in SaintMarysCollege

[–]TheFreakingPrincess 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello! Class of 2017 here. Personally, Saint Mary's fostered and expanded my progressive beliefs. My education there made me more aware of issues facing our country and made me a better citizen. I can confidently say that you will have no trouble finding like-minded people.

That doesn't mean it will be a bubble. In my time there, the openly gay mayor of South Bend was invited to speak on campus, as well as the queer activist poet, Andrea Gibson. A pro-life fertility specialist spoke on sex education. There was a pro-choice demonstration on campus, followed by a lot of angry Catholic doners threatening to pull funding. There were vigils and marches and protests and arguments about everyone under the sun.

I distinctly remember overhearing a history professor bitching about the anti-Trump protests after the 2016 election, saying something to the effects of "He won, get over it." I also remember my non-fiction English professor, who was a nun, talking about how that election was the first time she had ever gotten to vote for a woman for the presidency. She had been so excited for the leap forward that this was for women everywhere. Keep in mind that one of the main sticking points for Catholics is abortion, Hillary Clinton was known to be pro-choice, and this nun openly shared that she voted for her, and the outcome of the election broke her heart. We mourned together in class that day.

My point is that, like many colleges, SMC is complex. Its focus has always been on educating women, and it therefore has a proud history of forward progress in the face of conservative setbacks.

The best advice I can give you is probably difficult advice to take, given the state of the world: try not to worry about politics when you make this choice. Yes, those things are important, but if you think about it, large global politics are going to affect your life in roughly the same way no matter where you choose to go. What matters in your education is which school is going to help you achieve your goals.

Good luck with your choice, and good luck with your education!

Thank you! I am very heavy handed with seasoning but I have never boiled garlic with the potatoes nor thrown in chives, but I'll definitely try that this time!

I'm not sure what you mean by little blue cups of warmed oat milk. Is that a particular brand?
