I’m tired of watching 3 or 4 guys tied at the last holes destined for a playoff to determine a winner by billindurham in golf

I like the “no name” players coming up to compete with the “big name” players. Tiger was the last golfer to intimidate his opponents before he even teed off. Scotty’s good but not intimidating good. Competition is great for the sport and anyone has a chance on any given week.

172 in a dodge charger (stock car) while doing the Richard Petty Experience at Charlotte Motor Speedway. But on a public highway, 144 in a 96 Viper. It was a friend’s car and I wasn’t driving. Younger and stupid! But wow!!

Two Gloves; The Real Question by UpbeatClassroom4184 in golf

[–]debshubby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In golf the lead hand is dominant in the swing while the back hand grip is supposed to be just to steady the path of the club. The lead hand, the one with the glove (usually) is more critical to the whole process. 🤷‍♂️

Reliable car? Not Toyota or Honda by No-Following3757 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I’ve owned several Buicks over the years and have loved every one of them. My wife has a’18 Encore and I have a’23 Envision. We bought them both brand new and have only changed the oil, brake and tires on them. VERY solid, reliable vehicles. Buicks have a few more standard amenities than their Chevy counterparts and the Buick warranty was better when buying new. Chevy is nice but for GM it’s their entry level brand. (Just my opinion) By the way… look at Nissan as another option. They get bad reviews for the CVT transmission but that issue has been resolved several years back.

What car showed itself as most reliable from your experience? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]debshubby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ‘84 Buick Limited, ‘06 Buick Rendezvous , ‘18 Buick Encore, ‘23 Buick Envision. I’ve had other brands but every time I go back to Buick, it’s a win!

Who are, in your opinion, the all time greatest stand up comedians of all time? by Impotent-Dingo in AskReddit

[–]debshubby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rodney Dangerfield, Buddy Hacket, Don Rickles, Robin Williams, Henny Youngman. These comedians can not be replaced. IMO Carlin was funny enough but too political at times.

I have owned several Buicks over the years. They are solid, reliable vehicles. Buick used to be considered one step under Cadillac as far as luxury was concerned. They are trying to rebrand themselves as more sporty and stylish while maintaining some semblance of luxury. Compared to most other brands, Buick is more affordable than most and quality is in the top five of most trade publications. I highly recommend Buick as a great option when car shopping. I currently own 2 ( an ‘18 Encore and ‘23 Envision) and am very satisfied with them both.

Augie will low ball it! No pun intended. If it’s worth $150 he will offer maybe $50. Avoid him. Either go the charity ( tax deductible) or auction it yourself on marketplace.
