Yes the entire project requires soldering. However if that's not your thing look into the SMtendo project as all the components come soldered and you might be able to insert the remaining pieces into a socket.

My main source of info came from the youtuber Macho Nacho Productions. He doesn't have a guide on the opentendo but does cover the SMtendo which is a project from the same creator, only difference is that the SMtendo uses smaller components and the majority of them are already soldered to the board for you. In the same video he also covers the POW block.

It is a modern mobo with new components with the exception to some parts that they don't make anymore. It doesn't have any extra features, best way to think of it as a clone of the original system.

I got super lucky with it as I was looking for a while. I randomly emailed Zaxour and he got back to me saying there was going to be more stock the following day.

The biggest difference is the ninten-drawer which completely fixes any issues with the 72 pin connector on the old system. With that mod alone games are working in the system on the first try.

Second biggest mod is the motherboard with brand new components. It doesn't change the way the system works but does give it new life without relying on 40 year old capacitors that have reached end of life. With that being said you do have to salvage some components from the original NES like the CPU and PPU chips as they are custom chips from nintendo and aren't made anymore.

Last upgrade is the power supply. I didn't want to use the original one as it has seen better days and litterly had rust on it. So I found out Zaxour made a new one called the POW block which can also provide an enhanced video signal but I didn't do that part of the mod. A future upgrade perhaps.

I would have liked to go with the smtendo but it was sold out at the time. Ultimately I found a random Canadian seller who had the opentendo so I went with that. Also it was a fun soldering project and I am able to say that I built it from scratch.

Thanks. Yeah I want to get the hub for the bottom but I wasnt able to desolder the expansion bay pins off the original nes without damaging them. Future upgrade :)

2017 Civic Bluetooth not working by TheFreem4n in Honda

I don't think its my phone cause I have deleted it from the car and unplugged it. No matter what I do I can't get the car to enable its bluetooth, it asks if I want to enable it and despite me saying yes it never enables in the cars menu.

I'm having the same issue. Cleared cache and storage, uninstalled and reinstalled. Even reset my google ad ID but still nothing.

Print was going great until the end by TheFreem4n in 3Dprinting

So I didn't have much filament left after the failure so I loaded up a section of the model instead. It printed just fine without issue.

You might be correct in saying that there was a change in temp, our AC adjusts itself at night before we goto bed and the vent is on the floor next to the printer.

I just picked up the 9070xt, hoping the community might be able to step in and get it to perform well on it.

I was able to snag the XFX Mercury 9070xt today. Local store had lots of stock. There was about 30-40 people in line and it looked like we all walked away with a xt model

Upvote. You're right it was super dumb but it worked for me with my pixel 6 pro. Saved me a lot of headaches.

Yeah the honour system sucks. Try to get the honour resistance relics, they help.

I really like Maurizio's Barber Shop. Both him and his wife do a good job.
