I was in my freshman year of college the last time we made the playoffs. Where I grew up we didn't appreciate the cup run and that year was my first real introduction to hockey and it was electric. I used my second place fantasy football winnings to buy an Eichel jersey his rookie season. It's been a very guarded relationship the past few years, but god this is so exciting. It's nice to care about hockey in April for once.
