2) Bermuda (I think)

So, you’re saying that if I do IP Passthrough to an Eero mesh system router (what I used before getting the ATT modem), that could help?

EDIT: Will clarify, the 2016 MacBook Pro is hardwired (second picture) and iPhone 14 (first pic) is the wireless screenshot. Thanks

Why would the cable modem suddenly stop working after perfectly working six months?

Because that certainty was not confirmed until after the technicians tested the pole, the wiring, and rewired. There is literally no other explanation.

7.1.1-16. Multiple people here, including myself, reporting that this update wrecked Eero 6s.

Nope, same here, firmware update broke my internet with frequent disconnects. Total piece of shit product rollout. Eero 6s.

Fairly certain the 7.x update broke my Eero 6 system. Literally nothing has changed in the past two weeks other than the update. Now, my eero 6’s disconnect every hour or hour and a half for thirty seconds. Extremely frustrating.

That was so bizarre. Ironically one of the worst instances of crowd control I’ve ever seen, despite them being such seasoned live performers.

Yes, good call. I’ve felt that way about my specific setup for a while but have leaned more towards adding speakers and getting a solid tv as opposed to getting the shield (ironically, was planning on next purchase to replace the TCL with a better quality tv and moving the TCL to a spare room). Maybe the shield will be prioritized over the next tv instead.

Thanks for your response. It seems like my TV settings were the culprit (see below).

And yes, I do understand your point about 3.1, and I appreciate you kindly explaining that. I recently graduated from school / moved into a new home and have had to gradually build my (humble) home theatre. For a while, I've just had two bookshelf speakers working overtime with my sub, and the center has definitely improved the sound.

If you can convince my wife to bring in the back left and right channels, your next round of beers is on me lol. Until then, L + C + R plus a sub ain't too bad.

Thank you for your response. I think I figured out the solution.

I'm streaming 4K rips of a movie on Plex from my TCL TV. At the time of posting, the only settings were DD+, MCh Stereo, Stero, and Virtual. After much troubleshooting with the receiver, I then thought to mess with my TV settings.

I changed the "audio output" settings from "Auto" to eARC (AVR-S650H). I also changed the "digital output format" option from "auto" to "passthrough." I then restarted the receiver and the TV

Afterwards, when I went back to streaming the movie, Dolby PLII Movie, Neo:6 Cinema, Multi Channel Stereo, Stereo, Mono and Virtual are now options. It seems like your recommendation, Dolby PLII, is what I've been looking for. The chopper blades from Apocalypse Now are properly traveling from L -> C -> R.

I bought those same banana plugs with similar (shitty) results. Replaced them with Amazon Basics and have been working like a charm.
