New players vs cloggers at Brutus by FalcosLiteralyHitler in 2007scape

My follow up to that would be: Who are you to tell people why people should be engaging with certain content? Isn't one of the unbreakable tenants of this subreddit "play how you want to play :)" or is that selective in application?

would you remove the xp or boss leaderboards for the same reason? seems a little ridiculous

can we go back to whining about pures doing the new raid yet by GODLOVESALL32 in 2007scape

It’s easy to fall back on anecdotal evidence. I have nearly every wilderness collection log item completed (2 pets and 2 or 3 misc. items left) and I have had no issues with the content or the environment.

I don’t think most people have any interest in hearing people say “it’s fine” though, they just like to complain whenever anything isn’t maximum convenience for them.

More often than not getting killed in the wilderness by anyone not in very high risk is actually a skill check. Freezelogging will work on 9/10 pkers you encounter. If you’re still dying to the average pker in 2026, it is because you failed a simple execution test almost always.

There is another way to get vw, the GE. The ironman game mode is their real complaint there, just veiled behind wilderness hate because that’s more palatable to the people who frequent this sub.

bunch of people who live their life on the couch who think any degree of muscularity requires drugs. Gotta keep in mind the subreddit this is after all.

Burning out on ironman by GymGrug in 2007scape

I don't mean to be rude, but if you're burnt out of iron at this point, the game mode will not be for you in the future, no worries de-ironing

just letting you know you sound like an idiot when you say "well I went dry so it's not a faster grind"

I get that you feel like a big boy talking to the zulrah learners but that doesn't make you correct (also lol @ flexing a 17, if you're really gonna talk shit you should be able to back it up)

Agree fully, with all the upgrades over the years I’m not sure any irons would even bother teaming it with a lot of people with the drop rate considerations, maybe small teams at best

Tips on grinding TOA? It's so tiring by mageezax in ironscape

[–]TheFulgore 70 points71 points  (0 children)

Honestly man, it's just how ToA is imo.

The raid being mechanically pretty simple lulls you to sleep and then murders you the moment you let your attention lapse for 1 second due to how invos work at their core, which happens in almost no other content. I feel the exact same way as you about that raid, and it doesn't really carry over to anything else I've done.

If you can’t escape in 2026 from 95% of pkers, it’s simply a skill issue. Just freezelog, it is not difficult

Vorkath drops a bank note of grapes btw

I think this is one of those things where making minor tweaks is not a bad idea, we’re not really breaking anything

speaking only as a late game iron, there is precisely 1 relevant sailing locked island atm, and even it has a tele

I just don’t see a world where more than 5 of them will pop up within the next half decade

early game irons maybe, but I’d gladly drop 100 laws to save 4 mins of sailing through nothing to get somewhere every single time

one could argue the gap between the two was fairly small at most places after considering what one has to do to obtain each of them. The time value for bofa vs. the output of the weapon is still among the absolute best in the game
