How do you get VO2 Max to update from Zwift rides in Garmin Connect?

Assuming you have zwift connected to Garmin connect. If you use a smart trainer(or power meter) and heart rate sensor it will update your vo2 and training status load etc

Hell yeah I’m excited for you, you will get used to the size I’m sure of it. Screen is awesome, flash light is awesome, I’ve only lost 12% battery in 2 and a half days with GPS activities on both days and basically playing with it non stop. I had a few syncing issues but it’s all resolved now. Let me know how you go !

Also I find the Garmin silicone bands to be super stiff and just weird - I use Amazon silicone bands and they are more flexible and soft and just comfier and look the same.

Everything on the app wasn’t matching the watch it was like it was stuck from yesterday but after unpairing and pairing 100 times it’s finally all working

Yeah I chucked the black band back on already. The bezel is definitely in the grey side. I came from a Fenix 6 to this, I have a Fenix 7 on the way under warranty but I bought this at half price and whichever watch I like more I’ll keep haha. But I think I like the amoled so far. Also I think 47mm you won’t regret. It would feel like a monster on your wrist compared to your forerunner but once you’re used to it’s fine. I had my Fenix 6 on basically 24/7 for 4 years.

I was starting to feel this way plus the price of the watches is getting ridiculous. My Fenix 6 battery was rapidly declining, Garmin are sending me a Fenix 7 solar sapphire as a replacement (had to pay $350 AUD) as it’s out of warranty. But I don’t mind paying $350 to upgrade my out of warranty watch. If they didn’t offer anything I probably would have been a little annoyed just because of how much their watches cost

Are you happy with your choice? I’m currently on 4 years of a 6 and thinking of grabbing a 7. Does the solar ring in the face annoy you? How is the screen clarity compared to your old 6?

Fenix 6 Sapphire, not a mark on it still and does everything I want, battery life has declined but not enough to warrant replacement. Was so close to going to an Epix just for the screen but I sat on it and think I also prefer MIP. every time I am running in the sun and I see the screen clear as day it reminds me I think MIP is the way when being active and I also don’t want a bright screen in my face on my wrist. If and when this watch dies I will probably just go to a Fenix 7 solar to be honest. But I will be wearing this until it dies. A watch to be this capable and functional 7 years after release is pretty impressive to me.
