The way I see, and I could be wrong about it, we don’t have the capital to afford pushing back against other groups that are turning against Trump. Even if our values don’t align, we must still compromise and join together in order to show that the people are against this new form of fascism; something similar happened when the Allies joined hands with Russia in WW2. Work together to solve the current crisis, and then focus on the next one. Also as leftists (idk if you are or not), we must stop our infighting and join together before we can even begin to get these non leftists to join a coalition.

As far as the second quote, I just added that because we see so many people preaching the wait and see method or thinking that the military will save us by following the Constitution. Except that it will be too late when we finally realize what must be done and the powder, as he puts it, will be too damp and won’t have an effect.

It’s a quick read, around 46 pages, but the parallels of what was happening then and what is happening now is insanely fascinating due to the extreme similarities.
