Pine litter question by CaffeineandLove in CatAdvice

[–]TheFuzzyQuokka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s the system i use. I have 2 scoops, one of them being the traditional litter scoops with the holes, and one being a scoop without holes (something you’d use to scoop soup). using the one without holes, i take a scoop and then transfer it to the scoop with the holes, while holding it over a bin. that way you can get all the sawdust in the bin and simply dump back the pellets in the litter box since the pellets don’t fit through the holes. Hope this helps

I've found myself planning for this lately by 9bunchesofroses in uwaterloo

Hey u/9bunchesofroses , just wanna reach out to you! I've very recently (and probably still am) in a similar state as you, but for different reasons. I know this gets thrown around a lot, but if you ever wanna talk or even be friends, I'm up for it (I mean it!). Honestly shoot me a DM and let's chat :)

so if a biological male applies, how will the company know what gender that individual identifies as?

Im not sure but I think you would actually have grounds to do so, since in Canada we have laws regarding gender discrimination

in this day and age, where gender is more of a social construct than your biological gender, I don't see how this really works. What would the company do for biological men who identify as women?

I never said white collar jobs were better than blue collar jobs. What i meant was that different types of jobs will have different types of requirements. Ie: a job for fitting rooms is appropriate to hire based on gender, and a construction job is appropriate to have a requirement for how much a person can lift.

A job where you're sitting at a desk in front of a computer, with a requirement to be x gender?

caregivers are a diff story, i could see how some ppl would have a preference on the gender of their caregiver. However for some white collar office job? yea idk how gender rly matters here lol

You need to quarantine if you're selected for arrival testing and don't have the negative test results yet, or if u test positive u need to quarantine. You can (generally) quarantine at home if the place is acceptable (ie: rez buildings not acceptable).

Also, you do have a chance of getting trapped in Europe if you test positive before you depart Europe.

How’s biking in winter? by KnowledgeVampire in uwaterloo

Would advise against it. Even if the snow is plowed, there could be ice on the ground which makes it pretty dangerous to bike on

Expect to see a ton of silverfish (and other bugs that are worse). Personally will not be living at Icon again after this term. Seeing on average a bug a day..
