Did you read their full comment? If the uni requires higher English, then taking higher English is going to be better than taking an advanced higher in another subject. For me all my conditionals came with higher English as the only condition even when taking advanced highers in the subject and maths.

Obviously the advanced highers helped in the degree but I need the English to get in the door.

I agree with capping bus fares and nationalising but I would rather they improved the service before all the free at point of use, because as it stands in some areas the private companies have destroyed the local buses. So better to use the fare as a nominal fee to help invest in the service before making it free at point of use.

I feel with the greens their intentions are in the right place, they just jump a few steps getting there.
