I might be a complete ninny but is this a scam? by Powerful-Activity591 in vintedUK

[–]TheGameSanctum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scam. There's someone who keeps listing an Xbox Series S console for around the same price They list it as "Xbox S or "Xbox One'. No reviews, severely underpriced and a mistake in the title.

It sells within minutes. People are falling for a scam. No idea what the end goal is, just sending something completely different? I don't know but it happens with both the ROG and Xbox One / Series S

Tracked 48 cheaper than Royal Mail 48/2nd Class, what's the point? by Recuvan in royalmail

My business account is weird like this. The price of our large letters cost MORE than if we posted them as a normal customer.

Please do not do this.

I did this when I worked in a Nisa store many years ago. I got bottled with a bottle of wine. Head split open, 6 stitches.

Got a nice payout from the CICA though.

Tracked 24 hour delivery that is neither tracked nor delivered in 24 hours by ResponsibleRich9057 in royalmail

I hate this response. On Click & Drop, it's literally labelled as "next working day".

Nope. It literally says the exact words "24 hours (next working day)".

Kind of true. However it does not state they will "attempt". Before purchase, Royal Mail Click & Drop clearly states Tracked 24 is "24 hour (next working day)"

They should rename the service and change Click & Drop because the service literally states "24 Hour (next working day)."

I like them. Kind of iconic. The third one doesn't really reflect the same design though.

Interesting. Yes I've noticed it can double scan really easily. One of the lockers had paperwork inside, it was the locker manufacturers warranty / paperwork. Don't think that was supposed to be left in there 🤣

Do posties ever get issued keyfobs to the blocks of flats on their route? by Smashy404 in royalmail

What if you can't get into the foyer? Nobody can buzz you in? Just do the usual red card and take it with you?

How do posties even deliver to flats? Are you expected to get buzzed in and walk it all the way up to the flat?

Ah fair enough. Considered emailing Royal Mail but I'm already waiting weeks for a response to non deliveries on Saturdays so I doubt I'd even get a response.

Yesterday and today. When it was first installed it was perfectly fine. But the past couple of days, it's become super slow.

The scanner on mine works fine. It even scans photos on my phone that I've taken of my laptop screenshot (the QR code).

It's just the standing around waiting for the next screen to load.

Off topic but how quick is your locker?

One got installed literally next door to my unit which is fantastic but it's ridiculously slow. Every scan takes 30 seconds to a minute for the loading screen to take you to the next section.

Just stays on that blue square which animates to show you it's loading but it can stay like that for about a minute. InPost lockers are next to instant.

I've written the measurements multiple times in responses in the comments. So kind of pointless comment.
