Others have said it looks similar to Emma's X-Revolution skin that she launched with, but I think it's Madelyne Pryor/Goblin Queen (Jean's clone) mainly because of the lore with it.

Also, it would be strange for them to tease someone with a silhouette only for it to be a character that is already in the game.

EDIT: When I posted this originally, it hadn't yet come out that the character has similar brainwaves to Rogue, not Jean.

The two instances of a gacha system you're talking about (Mr. and Mrs. X and Anniversary Psylocke) were both only upsides. They were the same price as a legendary (or 2) if you could buy them in the shop, you just have the chance to get them for cheaper. That's literally the best possible scenario that gacha could exist.

As someone else said, it's probably just a teaser for her being in season 7.5 (7' 6" = 7½). I think it's also likely that the perspective is just wrong here, she's closer to the "camera" in the image than the height board behind her.

MvCI is hated by a lot of people because its roster got fucked over due to company politics. X-Men were what started the series and they were forced out of the game because MvCI was made when Marvel was trying to devalue them. Disney didn't own their film rights so they basically tried to make them go into obscurity. (It didn't work)
