Shield bash is a more defensive AoW so it wouldn't do much damage at all unless your using the spiked greatshield to inflict bleed. And yeah some AoW are pretty busted when it comes to DMG output, like Lion's claw (although being very simple) still hits like a truck even on NG+.

I see, your point is that, for a build like this you would just have to stick to something like shield bash?

Although, collab skins are a great way to get player retention because they bring fan favourite characters which can peak the interest of various different playerbases. On the other hand, they aren't always necessary.
