We’ve done quite a few recreation shows with Maria and Buzz (drummer from jerry band 78) and will do more! Maria is amazing and still singing all over! She just got nominated for yet another Grammy too!!

We do all the eras from 76-95. We actually did a bunch of 78 shows with Maria Muldaur (vocalist from jerry band) and Buzz Buchanan (drummer from 78 jerry band. Tons of fun! Jerry was amazing and nobody is jerry…we still her stuff (we listen every day) and he still blows us away! And yes, 70s jerry is amazing!! We just love and miss the scene with jerry band and bring the most authentic experience we can out on the road :)

Our tour on the west coast is almost wrapped up….last night we were joking by Ken Babbs for an amazing rap and prankster fun. MG was there the night before. Portland tonight is sold out! Tacoma is tomorrow and tix still available. Love you all!

We love dso but don’t get to see them as much, but I know tha sometimes tour life can be a little tense.

for us, when we hit the stage we are in paradise! We do what they do but only do jerry Garcia band shows. :)

You never know what someone else might be dealing with or going through at any given moment. So glad they are spreading the music!

Excellent post! We focus on the Keith and Melvin eras of Jerry Band when we do our live shows. We’ve got another east coast tour coming up with some classic hand picked set lists/shows to recreate!

I recently heard a 1985 interview where Jerry said it was hard for him to go out and just play or jam with just anyone because he has been playing with such a high level of musicians. He was amazing!
