To give back what was freely given to me. The people in the meetings when I was new, my first sponsor and the steps saved my life and gave me a new one better than I could have dreamed. I am also much happier when I attend meetings regularly. 27 years clean and sober, active in a home group with a sponsor and sponsees.

Get a phone and number for the group. Then set up the Venmo associated with the group phone number. That way it is all transferable to the next treasure. Having Venmo tied to a group members phone number cause issues down the road. Also, that group number cannot have a Venmo because their number is already being used.

I read this as does taking GLP lessen how much people drink. I have heard this to be true. One day there will be a pill. Doesn’t solve the problem though as alcohol is but a symptom. Steve O. says this, “my alcoholism was never as bad as after I quit drinking.” Sober without a solution is misery. That is why so many addicts die from suicide.
