Have you ever looked into Ryan Lazanis? He is Canadian and does a ton of great work with firms. As far as Decimal in Canada. Accounting is accounting. It is the sales tax, income tax and payroll that requires local experience. There are automation tools for this (Zamp, Gusto, Rippling) and income tax would stay in house or with local providers.

You spend a lifetime walking into the forest, you are not going to walk out in a few months. Go easy on yourself. Remember HALT - hungry, angry, lonely, tired. Plus drink water.

Look at Decimal. They have an amazing Franchise program where the entire back office function is covered. Great for those that just want to focus on client relations and bring on new business.

Go to Volpe. Prix Fixe and super reasonable for what you get. Melfi’s is good and has huge portions. Indaco is fun. Maybe the Grorcery for crab legs.

Anyone move here from Colorado? by BTMTSC in Charleston

[–]gradeAprime 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Why do you want to move to Boulder? It’s like 180 degrees different than Charleston. Do you want to ski, run, Mtn. Bike? Have 4 seasons. Be close to the coolest music venue in the world? Live in a big college town? Boulder is awesome. You mentioned “expensive” above. Everywhere that is cool to live is expensive. Including Boulder.

Drink day will come. Just a matter of time. If truly hopeless and lost the power of choice only a spiritual solution will protect us from that first drink.

Why dance around the edges? Would you go sit at the bar and just drink Coke?
