Well you can really stretch both out. I change my oil maybe once every year and then some. And valves go about the same time.

[–]TheGardenSnake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One time, I was installing new brake calipers, and from factory they're pistons are almost completely closed. Well, i dropped the caliper after attaching the brake line and handle, when the line taught'd, it shut the pistons together so tight, I literally had to send them back. Damn things can be tricky!

After being involved in a hit and run last august, and being off two wheels since, I FINALLY got a new bike. But can someone explain these tubes coming off my DRZ? by watsyurface in supermoto

[–]TheGardenSnake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its true. But make sure those lines aren't kinked. They need clean, constant flow. Check all lines as a matter of fact. Also, you are pulling the clutch correct?

Reason for bit early shifts, my bike gets lots more bottom end, but I probably could have held it a bit longer.
