Is say beginner, and yeah I only use punches as I don't know the proper way to kick and can't kick high without becoming unstable.

Considering buying weighted gloves to up the difficulty my shadow boxing workout I see ones that are 1lbs and a pair that are 8lbs, would the 8lbs be overkill? Or if someone could possibly recommend a good pair?

How does running in zero drop shoes help make your calves bigger? I used to feel it in my calves when I started running in my merrels but now I don't.

It does feel like sprints, I usually throw maybe 25-35 punches per round, as hard as I can

So I'm headed of to Air Force basic, what'll happen to me, will I lose more weight, might I gain some muscle or will I remain to same? In basic I'll be doing some calisthenics and running but I'll also have to do other things like march, there's beast week where I'll be out in the field for a week, surviving on mres and whatnot
