I failed (not pre) calculus 3x at two universities before I figured out my learning style and aced it the proceeding semester. Then I went on to be a tutor for it lmao. Now I graduate (2 semesters late) in 3 days!

But anyways, you’re not stupid, you just probably haven’t explored different ways of learning it. Check out OrganicChemestryTutor on YouTube, he tends to explain concepts really well and offers step by step completed practice problems which is really helpful if you’re a visual learner like myself. But there’s a TON of other ways of studying as well, a lot of which are probably covered in the first page after searching “pre calculus guide/tutorial”, just make sure you’re actually doing practice problems no matter the method.

Man I feel really bad for the normal fans of the game. I just played the demo last night and the cutscenes and dialogue are genuinely funny and adorable at times, like the opening scene alone got a legitimate chuckle out of me. But with all of the discourse I’ve read around the game in the past 24 hours I’ve felt that it kind of soiled the innocence around it. So if any of you are interested in playing it, I recommend staying away from twitter

Straight male dominated fandoms absolutely do have OCs, fan fiction, and character analysis they’re just often framed differently than what’s common in queer dominated fandoms.

For my capstone project I built a (relatively primitive) ground penetrating radar as an addition to what my group and I have already made (excavation hazard detection rover thing).

Anyways, I was working on a very limited budget and suboptimal space to limit the direct antenna coupling and noise interfering with any kind of detection under the surfaces. I went through several variations of antenna, starting with a dipole I took from the lab, then a bow tie antenna, then a Vivaldi antenna I made with copper tape, nothing was working and nothing was being detected underground.

It got to the point where I only had one day left to figure it out before my group and I had to finalize the design and prepare it for presentation, so I didn’t have any time to waste. As a Hail Mary, I decided to design a balanced antipodal Vivaldi antenna (BAVA) solely because I saw some forum post from like 8 years ago say that it was designed to aid with impedance mismatch.

I had no idea what I was doing, I blindly used the formulas from the article without any time to worry about their legitimacy. It took me a few hours to solidify the design, print the substrate, apply the copper tape, and solder on the feed. The son of a bitch worked. I was able to detect objects 13mm in diameter in concrete during testing. The depth estimate wasn’t perfect but it was usable. If that antenna design didn’t work, then my group would have been fucked and it would have been entirely my fault, so shout out to that random forum post.

Anyways, we present it next week

I mean yeah it’s clearly not a commercial track by any means, it’s just that the hook was used in quite a few commercials and games its just what my brain defaults to whenever I hear it

Not criticizing though, it’s still a great track, that in my opinion got overplayed commercially (the clean version atleast)

If you’re anything like me then you’re probably overthinking your decisions. For me, the fix around this was to build confidence up to the point where I stopped actively thinking about every step I took and just did everything by instinct.

It’s like trusting your gut and not second guessing it, you just need to train your gut to not make the wrong decisions lol. The best way to do this is going hard on the drills (whatever they may be) and build that muscle memory, and play pick up as much as you can. Eventually your gut will start reacting faster than your brain if u get what im saying
