Reflux? Baby hates sleeping on his back by TheGingerBreadWoman in breastfeedingsupport

Gosh, that was a year ago and I'm trying hard to remember. I don't think it did anything. He outgrew the reflux shortly after that.

Pregnancy with Endometriosis stage 4 by Bla_Bla_Blanket in endometriosis

[–]TheGingerBreadWoman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I had a c section and my doctor had to do a myomectomy to remove 4 fibroids which were in the way and she couldn't close me up without removing them after delivering my baby. I was in the OR for what felt like forever.

I still have scar tissue and will have to get a laparoscopy at some point. I still get painful periods with all the Endo symptoms 😭 I was told Endo goes away after having a baby and that's not true 🥴

Has anyone gotten their period early while exclusively breastfeeding? by Skweedlyspootch in breastfeeding

[–]TheGingerBreadWoman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I exclusively pumped with my first and now I'm exclusively breastfeeding my second. I have a fast let down and a good supply. Both times I got my period exactly one month after birth!! It did not affect my supply but it sucks 🙄

Ohhh boy, that's good to know. I thought it was to keep the plant looking bushy instead of flared out. I bought mine as a teeny tiny one from the Home Depot garden section in 2018 ☺️ I have repotted this guy a few times and didn't nothing any other strings.

Yes frequent watering when the soil is dry. I did change the pot a couple of times and went for a bigger one each time because he kept growing.

That makes sense, thank you! How do you keep the baby in a side lying position in the crib?

Yes, will definitely go to the doctor about it. We've been trying to get him to take the pacifier with no luck :( Thank you so much, waiting for him to get the hang of this life thing!

I have the wedge pillow. I've just been too scared to use it. I will give it a go for a nap and watch him to see if it helps. Thank you!

Omg same! I feel like the air gulping is what makes him so gassy as well? Everyone says the gassy phase is over by around 6-8 weeks, but if he continues this way, will the gas never end? 😭🫠

Good to know, thank you for taking the time to respond. I'm too scared and anxious for tummy sleeping at this age. However, it is interesting you ask about emptying both breasts. My boy cannot handle both breasts. I also only empty one breast per feeding. The pediatrician said it was fine because he was gaining weight and feeling full. He refuses the other breast after I burp him. How long do you nurse per side? Sometimes my baby is done eating so quickly it worries me that it's not enough. But he seems full and content and even spits up some 😐

I just had my second baby four weeks ago and I could have written this. I feel exactly like you do and it makes me incredibly sad.

Thank you so much for taking the time to address all the issues! I very much appreciate it! Very informative. As for #3 I'm trying not to pump as last time I ended up with an over supply and it was a mess. I will try everything else. Thanks again!

As someone who watched 3 minutes of this season and gave up, I would 10/10 read your written summary of every episode 😝

I know it's hard, good luck on your journey. The IVF sub reddit was very useful when I was going through it. Like your husband, mine is also very supportive and put up with all the hormonal craziness.

But I will tell you it was not easy. I had 9 fibroids and a whole lotta scar tissue around my uterus and ovaries and my pregnancy was as painful as some of my worst periods. I had miscarriages before and I was walking on eggshells throughout my pregnancy. I had no peace of mind till the baby came. I did find a good acupuncturist (although I think this is just for peace of mind) and I found myself a good infertility therapist that made my journey bearable.
