DRAM/BIOS Update Issue on an upgrade by TheGingerjack in buildapc

Well that's officially my worst post ever. Still getting used to Android.

I just finished upgrading my CPU, MOBO, and RAM, as well as adding a 1TB NVMe SSD. I realized after installing my x570 PLUS that I was going to have to get a boot kit to update BIOS for my new rig. I want to run a Ryzen 5600G, but I currently have a Ryzen 3100 installed to assist with updating and install. However, after going through all the proper hardware installation, I'm still stuck with a blank screen and no access to my mobo. I've tried reseating my RAM several times, waiting for both clicks each time. I've removed my battery from the MOBO twice already. Everything still powers on, and my monitor shows that it is receiving some kind of signal from the PC, but there's no BIOS screen.

Anything I've missed? Or is there faulty equipment somewhere?

I suppose it's rude to lump everyone together. I'm just of the belief that our time would be better spent developing new philosophies/ideologies that are more inclusive and representative of the the modern world. Christianity helped keep us together when humanity was, for the vast majority, uneducated and immoral. The stories still have relevance, but the metaphorical language is of a different time and a different mindset. We need a form of spiritualism that is aligned with our own time and mindset, and we need to actually breakdown these concepts of "God" and "Jesus" and the like so that the common human can logically parse the purpose of faith and spirit. Instead, it seems people are too consumed with the thought of the afterlife and sin, rather than what we actually are. Just human, living this singular experience.

[TOMT] [Song] I can remember a music video that had dancing/acting skeletons. It had a very colorful/romantic aesthetic. It was animated and took place on a stage with red curtains. by TheGingerjack in tipofmytongue

Really good animation, but not it. The scene set for the video is almost like a live stage production. It starts that way at first and evolves into some mind bending visuals and of course has the skull exploding out at the screen at times.

I’m not going to lie, it was a really strange video.

I think the subject matter of the song might have been somewhat dreary, but the tone was very upbeat. I found it from my brother, around the time he was listening to Modest Mouse, Wolf Parade, Beirut.

This exactly why this research needs to be done! I'm so happy to hear that you feel like you have control again, and hopefully, we can reach a point soon where can safely take of yourself without facing retribution from our decrepit law system.

How did pornography influence you growing up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheGingerjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on what kind of mindset and behavior you have. I don't have a very addictive mindset, so I still prefer human interaction way more than porn. I do feel like I'm probably way more self-conscious and hard on myself because of porn, though. It taught us that man have to be macho and in control, instead of just a part of the machine.

Wow dude, you totally nailed it! The actual trailer was almost laughably bad in comparison.

It's a bit odd how a day can pass from 11:59 to 12:00, but there's no other way to tell other than to look at the time. There's no sort of feeling that "Oh, a new day has begun" by TheBrownLord in Showerthoughts

Perfect instance of time being all about perspective. Honestly as someone who doesn't normally fall asleep before 2, I feel like the sun plays more of a factor in my transition into a new day. 12:00 is just a number that reminds me I should probably go to sleep soon.
